Clean Good room service Friendly and attentive staff Microwave in hallway, good selection of teas Rooms were too small Vegetarian breakfast not too satisfactory-strongly suggest providing more vegetarian friendly options or at least information re: a vegetarian restaurant nearby. Suggest that parking be provided to all customers. If full arrangements for nearby parking must be provided Overall, would expect to pay <$250 for 3 nights. Experience was good but these little things make a difference when you are spending the money:)

Location breakfast They put us in a room, even though they did not have the reservation from Bookings.com THey did not have our reservation. I had to show the Bookings.com confirmation document. So had to change rooms during our stay, which was highly inconvenient.

The breakfast, the hot tub, the balcony, close to the metro. It also had a personal feel about it - good staff. Too many stairs and the room was a little on the small side but we made it work

For our purposes the location was brilliant along with the price. Additionally we loved the morning breakfast that was included as well as the staff. Chanya was just amazing, along with Jesse, Margarita, Gavin and another gal whose names escapes me. Well not so much didn't like, but being informed that there is NO elevator, is pretty important. We had two heavy bags and having to lug them up 3 flights of stairs after 20 hours of traveling was not particularly fun. Also, unfortunately, we had NO internet for 2 full days of our stay due to a technical issue that their IT person didn't seem to wish to resolve. We were also right next to the door that goes to the Jacuzzi, and there was one night which another guest was ignoring the 9pm curfew. While that is not the Hotels fault, they should have a way to "lock out" usage after the posted curfew time.

Great Bed. Friendly Staff. Great Location. no lift, which is bad if you have heavy luggage. So travel light. Could do without the cold breakfast.

This is a gem of a hotel. My room was impeccably clean, well-appointed and tastefully decorated. The night watchman and the lady at the reception in the morning were both very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a neighborhood which is both central and very pleasant, with romantic Carré Saint-Louis nearby. In terms of amenities and location you get way more than the price you pay. I will definitely stay there again. The rug in the staircase needs sprucing up a little bit, but this is a very minor point. Détail très mineur : le tapis dans l'escalier demande un petit coup de jeune.

Very clean and efficient. Breakfast nice. Not a place for staying in your room. The rooms are small. However, for a great night's sleep to be ready to explore all Montreal has to offer, it's the place to stay.

Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, close to the city and public transport networks. Some very friendly staff, some not so. Probably due to the numerous requests I made. Bit of a stressful situation as we arrived at midnight and had written to the hotel to inform them of this and thyen was told that the hotel was full. After 10 minutes of heated debate about whether I had paid a deposit, he finally checked the booking.com system and found our reservation and checked his own to finally confirm we were booked in and a mistake was made, our room was indeed vacant. Breakfast is actually a picnic box which is put into your firdge at night. We were not made aware of this even at time of check in. Breakfast items were quite limited for us, comparing to other hotels we stayed at and what we usually eat. Having to request additional items was a chore.

We had a lovely stay. I have stayed in many hotels over the years and would consider this hotel a 3.5 star. Good value for the money but does need upgrades. The hotel is being renovated to add more rooms so I hope they remember to upgrade the existing ones! Breakfast included is nice and cheap parking make this hotel a good option. Also the Indian restuarant downstairs is excellent! The neighborhood is awesome (very lively at night) lots of restuarant choices (Indian, morrocan, Italian etc.). Location is about 20min walk to old Montreal and 15min walk to shopping on St. Catherine.

Very comfortable bed, great location in the middle of Le Plateau and a hot tub making marvels after exhausting walks in Downtown Montréal! Great service too. AirCon was a bit too strong by European standards :)

Great location, great bed, balcony looking onto Park St-Louis, quiet even though it fronts on St-Denis. Room a bit cramped, but we had good weather and weren't there much.

In the heart of Montreal's Latin Quarter, close to dozens of restaurants and many other services. I also had a balcony overlooking a popular park, Carré St-Louis. Very cramped quarters, more European-style than North American. Not very good value for money. Telephone messaging system didn't work (didn't accept the password given to me). Also staff forgot facecloths on two of the three days I was there.

Location was good (minus all the protestors outside), room was clean on arrival, staff were polite, breakfast was pretty good - I liked having it in the fridge for me. The ac was broken for the first two days which made for a very uncomfortable stay and they had no fans or anything to offer in the meantime, and it was over 30 degrees outside. The room is very, very small. Not much room in the bathroom to get ready. The room was not cleaned for the first two days so there were no clean towels and the garbage was overflowing.

Great location. Very helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Nice hot-tub/jacuzzi on the roof. Adequate breakfast. High quality TV. In the suite, the upgraded towels and terry robe were a nice touch. Couldn't control the temp in the room. Thermostat-A/C didn't seem to be functioning. Opening the window helped, but also let in the street noise.
