breakfast was pretty fine TV with HDMi cabel big room
smell of indian food everywhere jacuzi didnt work properly paid parking and very hard to get there dirty hotel corridor new bathroom but not well designed thin wall and loud people
Warm & Cosy. Breakfast Included. Good Location. Nice staff. Would stay again.
Hot Tub was broken (temporarily). No Parking (had to park across the street).
location, would suggest instructions on using the tv, couldn't get any channels.
parking. I reserved a space and had to park in the driveway on a steep grade to the garage. Fortunately I parked in backwards, for in the morning due to a sign. freeze, the snow prevented me from driving out until I had to break the ice up. I had to leave early so there was no one around.
Not your cookie cutter hotel ....a real feeling of Montreal in a delightful area
We went to Montreal for a Cirque du Soleil concert and this hotel was near the bus station and near the venue, so it was very convenient for us. Breakfast was ok, with good croissants. No hot milk or microwave to heat it. The room was clean and the bed very confortable. The view was not very nice but it a a pleasent sunlight in the mornings. The shower was super good.
The area where the hotel was located was a little dirty. There is a restaurant next to the hotel and it smells like curry all day long.
Don't stay here. It is a scam - they rip you off and are rude. made me not want to revisit Montreal.
Horrible stay - rooms were terrible, broken facilities, freezing cold. manager and owner were not reachable. A disaster
Loved the rooms, it looked more like a small apartment than a hotel room, but impecibly taken care of. It was insanely clean and the beds were delightfully firm and very large. The bathroom was nice (but bring your own shampoo, it was difficult to get out of the dispenser!) and clean and large. We went for New Years Eve and it was still a very reasonable price and an amazing room and location. A hidden gem indeed!
This was not a problem for us, but there was not an elevator (that we could see) to get up to the top floor rooms. It was a very small hotel with huge, awesome rooms but it never told us there was no elevator. If we had traveled with any impaired persons this would have been an issue.
v good rooms, renovated and clean great location value for money
nothing else really is there other than the rooms. poor breakfast, no facilities. it's not technically a hotel. but if u need a cheap clean renovated room in a good location, you know what you're paying for
Most things are good
Hard to find it
noise from the street
Not much. We were on the third floor, which we are young...but come on! Three flights for that price?
The room was cheap. The bed uncomfortable. And there was hair in the bathroom! Plus the neighborhood was hopping at night but the noise level was more than I could stand on the street at around 3am, both nights.
A nice friendly and warm place.Like your own little appartement in the city
excellent location, near subway excellent staff very quiet in spite of being right on the corner of a very busy street. clean wifi
not much atmosphere room and bathroom a bit small only decaf in the room, but the staff gave us a bag of real coffee
The only window in my room looked out into a very small ventilation shaft! No wonder the curtains were drawn when I arrived!
Central location for the shops and clubs in a trendy neighbourhood. Great for adults.Private.
The location is superb.
The first item to note is that this hotel has NO lift ... it probably said this in the fine print. Secondly, there is no lobby just a reception desk. The rooms do not have comfortable chairs so you really have no place to sit comfortably. The rooms are very small. Our section only had central a/c in the hall - nothing in the room. Breakfast could be improved - one choice of cereal, muffins, croissants, juice, t and c, plus hard boiled eggs. Toast would have been nice or something else warm. Perhaps cheese and meat. It was only talking with another guest that we learned of the hot tub on the fourth floor. Some staff were very pleasant others were abrasive.
Loved the location, the room was spectacular, beds were comfortable, very clean. I took a bunc of their cards to recommend to friends. Bravo
The location was perfect and the patio on the roof was very nice. Also, the restaurant served delicious food at a good price.
The trips up and down the stairs to the third floor.
I like the location, the fact that breakfast was included and the rooms were cosy and comfortable.
I would suggest to make the rooms even more inviting would be to add some artwork or mirros on the walls. The room feels bear without this.
Good location, great service, friendly bi-lingual staff, excellent room. Couldn't have asked for more.
Friendly, helpful staff and great location near the metro station and lots of restaurants and bars.
No lift, but fortunately I was on the second floor.
The staff was helpful. The location was Good. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a lovely rooftop deck where we ate breakfast. Parking was affordable. Free breakfast was convenient.
There is no elevator so we had to walk up several flights of stairs with our luggage.
Unclean room, disturbing fridge making 15 minutes noise every hour, waking you every hour, poor pre-fab breakfast limiting what you can eat (and I am a small eater), saying "1 croissant, 1 yoghurt, ...).
Friendly and helpful staff.
3 floors of stairs
Breakfast was great. It was nice to be able to meet so many other travelers and hear what they were up to. The location was also good — just a few blocks from some great bars and restaurants.
After looking for hours we finally found an opening very late (10PM) possibly because there had been a cancellation. We were unable to check in until after midnight, which seemed to upset the host and made our stay awkward. It would be good if the hosts added some kind of time limit for same-night check-ins in order to prevent other travelers from having a similar experience.
