We really liked the accommodations. Terrific

Breakfast was good but cyclists need some protein. e.g. Eggs

This is a lovely auberge. It is relatively cheap and includes a continental breakfast. In walking distance of a number of restaurants. We were on a cycling trip so the laundry facilities were very welcome as was the safe cycle storage.

I have stayed there several times because I am often looking for a stop between Ontario and the Maritimes. The owners are friendly and helpful. It is very clean. There are pretty places to walk for post-driving exercise. Unlike many other places in this tourist region, this b and b gives straightforward value for reasonable prices. I appreciate a reduced price for solo travellers.

The building is old with almost no soundproofing. The rooms are dark and could benefit from better lighting. Some of the towels - while always clean - are truly threadbare and need to be replaced. The included breakfast can be unpredictable - sometimes there is a good selection for a continental breakfast and other times, it is very basic.

We liked how the hotel looked on booking.com, but it is nowhere near the truth.

Very dark and gloomy room, not at all like in the picture on booking.com. Very damp, dusty and spooky. We booked queen room and I'm not sure what we got. We were late for breakfast and the hostess wouldn't even bother to offer tea or coffee. The worst service we've seen in a hotel and we've travelled a lot around the world. Hotel hard to find as it is shown in a wrong place on Google maps. Not a pleasant experience overall. You'd be better off in a motel.

I regularly need a place to stay overnight in this area. Because of the proximity to Quebec City, it is difficult to find a reasonably priced stopover that feels secure for a woman traveling alone. Manoir Dauth meets my needs almost perfectly.

When there is a full house, the lack of sound proofing can be problematic.
