The location is great that you can walk to the old Quebec city in15 minutes. There's also a beautiful park just across the street.
The room is tiny and I heard noises at night.
The staff were amazing! Very accommodating and they know everyone by name. It felt more like staying with good friends than being in a hotel. I'm looking forward to staying here again!
Very nice area, in spite of road works. Very close to the wonderfull park and museum. Close to downtown, ~15 min by foot.
We got small room, with very small shower. Parking place that I got was not exactly on the site (more or less on the opposite side of the street and it could be good enough but as I mentioned there were serious road works on Grand Allee). Breakfast was very ordinary but it's not included in the room price that was high enough. And if join all together, I did not like the price we had to pay. All mentioned above are not concerned to staff. Staff was O.K and helpful.
Staff friendliness and helpfulness. Facility was quite nice.
Not much if anything.
Room is nice and clean, with a touch of buddhism or oriental taste. Staff are cordial and ready to help.
Outside of the old town, about 15 mins on foot.
Nice hotel around the corner from Clinton Street Good design, modern Suite room was spacious, with separate bedroom for the kid
No aircon in the rooms of the suite, only one central aircon in the entrance area - wasn't really a problem for us because it wasn't really hot but given the room is just below the roof I imagine this can be a real problem on very hot days
The 2 bedroom suite was comfortable and nicely decorated.
Non-existent wifi in the room. Had to sit in the lobby / dining area for internet usage.
Unfortunately, there were works being done on the road at the back of the hotel and our apartment faced out that way. We were unable to sleep in and were woken three days in a row to very loud disturbing noises.
It was our second stay and if I had to travel to Quebec city again, I would not look to stay anywhere else. The hotel is very quaint, the staff AMAZING and we just feel very comfortable there.
Very clean and modern rooms and the beds so comfortable. We really appreciated having nice soft feathers pillows. The staff was also very friendly and courteous. Little terrace at the top to use if you want to have a drink and bring your own wine. Nice little hotel if you are looking for something different than the big hotel chains with smaller room size you normally find in European countries.
Rooms are much smaller than what is showing on the website. There is a shower but no bathtub and very limited counter space in the bathroom. It is a fair walk to downtown old Quebec but short walking distance to the nice restaurant/café terrasse located on Grande-Allée.
Charming inn, very comfortable, staff very welcoming Perfect location Excellent value
Nothing at all
Great Hotel all the character with modern conveniences! Staff were great especially Pierre! Nice restaurants around the corner and a short walk to the downtown! We will be back!
breakfast is poor
Roof top patio to have a glass of wine was wonderful
Toilet kept running Had to shut it off at night
We loved the location and the very friendly and knowledgeable staff
The airconditioner in the room was extremely noisy. Bathroom very small. Room very small.
walking distance to the city (15min walk), clean rooms, nicely equipped
tied room for couple with baby, no fridge
they have place to park car but you have to pay extra money so the cost of your room is extra more 15$ plus tax per day $$$$
I wondered how everything was foreseen and organized very well. When I entered to our room, I couldn't believe we have such a perfect place for such a good price. The room was full of facilities for every single thing that you can imagine. I also liked the roof patio.
I believe the parking area should be closer to the hotel.
I liked the location next to rue Cartier. There were shops and restaurants and pubs just around the corner. The staff was extremely helpful and kind.
It was super hot and the air conditioning could not really keep the room as cool as we would have liked.
Great location in a nice neighborhood.
Place is cramped, rooms are very small (online pics are deceiving). Skip breakfast; cad 9 + 18% tax/pers. Is not worth it! Walk one block over to Cartier Street, buy fresh baked goods, cheese and meats. Take this to the roof-top terasse with a free mug of coffee; much better, nicer and cheaper. Parking fees are also high, but no real alternatives.
The furniture, cleanliness, location, very close to old town.
Small rooms situated on basement
Everything was perfect. Location, our junior suite and extremely friendly, helpful staff. We only stayed one night but would have loved to have stayed longer.
The decor was amazing and enjoyed talking with Pierre while having breakfast. He is a true pearl to the auberge!!! Will go back for sure... Maybe this August!!!
Good room, clean, quiet, short walk to Old City and next to park for a run. Breakfast relaxed and good quality. Parking at rear. One of the best hotels on our trip .......
