Almost happy with everything
Pricing for dinner is a little bit expensive
All the activities around the island, places to explore, visit the information centre for a map.It kept us occupied for 2 whole days, could have stayed longer.
the pool was closed end of September, the restaurant menu was not for vegetarians!
Staff treated us very well comfortable room nice location very quiet would recommend this hotel to anyone
Not much to dislike possibly better directions to hotel
The rooms were delightful, the staff (especially Yoke) were so wonderful. We have stayed in this inn since the 1980's and have always returned and never been disappointed. It is something to look forward to when deciding where to visit. It feels like "coming home"
The location was gorgeous and private right on the river. Restaurant food was very very good!! Rooms were perfect along the river.
I was hoping to have a small breakfast included in room price but it seems that it was just a "package deal" for Canadians.
Despite being warned our room would not have a river view we were situated on the ground floor of a cottage with a water view. The hotel is beautifully laid out with pricey rooms imaginatively situated close to the water.
Dinner was great meal. I prefer to find locations were breakfast is included.
breakfast inhe restaurant was not good.
Room, food and view
attitude of one of the young clerks when we ended our stay...she was rude and uncaring
Great location and great restaurant
-beautiful room and location -french windows/doors opening onto the garden with view over St-Laurent -comfortable and tidy -mini-vestibule, fridge and table greatly appreciated
-wifi not functional -strange layout of the hotel and room (wash basin not adjacent to the toilet) -very limited pool hours (we didn't get to swim!) -convenience package: no tea bags, no biscuits; and Coffeemate? Forthe price you charge?
The beautiful view from the quay. The charm of an older room.
Small sink area.
helpful staff, location and parking were ideal - very quiet peaceful. elevator available from ground entry up to reception & down to restaurant. room looked out on the water and view of opposite shore. restaurant looked out over the water and service and food were just fine.
no elevator to 2nd floor, so not wheelchair accessible - carry bags up the stairs. we didn't realize there was an optional (included) meal plan until after we got there, so we probably paid extra for the meals. tiny bathroom & sink was located IN the room, almost stand on your head to brush your teeth.
The grounds were lovely and the location is excellent and it was priced very reasonably.
The bathroom was a bit small.
prime location to relax near quebec. Great restaurant. Nice pool which we had exclusively for us during the whole day. Ask for special offers for breakfast and dinner.
Our room was on the ground floor, facing the St Laurence River, and we could walk out our screened door to deck chairs, sit, and just stare & read - for hours. Our teenage children also found it (& the whole Orleans island) a relaxing break in our otherwise active Quebec vacation. The grounds and the rooms themselves are well tended, charming, and quiet.
Spacious apartment, location by the river, the view from the pool, full kitchen, free parking,
Little far from everything, even the restaurants in the islands were a bit far. There´s no Market in the neigbourhood.
The location and the dining room. The food is excellent. The staff accommodated our needs and were very courteous and friendly.
Would have preferred to have been informed about the stairs leading up to the room we were allocated. This caused us to re-arrange our sleeping arrangements, consequently losing some of our leisure time.
Beautiful location, friendly and helpful hotel staff, nicely appointed room.
Toilet and sink were a bit low.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. The view is great.
Beautiful place... I will return. We were with our 12 month daugther and the structure had everything we needed. Very clean
Very nice charming hotel at very picturesque location, esp. rooms with river view. Excellent service and excellent food.
The place was just beautiful
That we had to leave
Location is a must - beautiful spot, very nice staff, would go back for sure.
The price however I do not hold it against them (It was our choice to travel and I understand that it was a special weekend (St-Valentine's weekend) where prices are higher everywhere (somehow ridiculous actually at some locations). I believe that at regular price, it would be just perfect.
