Friendly, family atmosphere. The hosts were attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. When dining in, the menu was varied , the preparation and service was excellent.
Our room was rather small and lacked sufficient storage space for our clothing and luggage.
Beautiful setting, lots of small areas outside to sit. Well situated. Breakfast was good but there was no choice. We would have liked to sample dinner there but it was not available There was some beautiful art in the Auberge itself and in the rooms. Shower products were good quality.
Madame was not very welcoming, in fact she was quite offhand ( perhaps it was a bad day). We were disappointed that dinner was not being served that night, we were not aware of this prior to arrival. The shower was quite small The room room was very hot which made sleeping difficult.
We loved our room, the owners, the hot made-to-order complimentary breakfast, and the views from outside. It was relaxing and peaceful and we can't wait to go back!
Wonderful food and reception by hosts
Being 6'3" - couldn't stand in many places. No fire escape on third floor
The location and the food were amazing, we had a lovely dinner sitting out looking out into the gardens.....breakfasts were also great.
The room we were in was quite small with a very small window but I hear there are plans to extend it and make it bigger. there was only one bedside lamp and larger pieces of soap in the bathroom would be appreciated if you forget to bring your own.
We really enjoyed conversing with Pierre and could see his love for the property. We really enjoyed our breakfasts that were served each morning, especially the omelet with prosciutto and mushrooms. And the caramel spread!
Our room could have been cleaned better. We stayed there 4 nights and we were only given soap and shampoo when we first arrived. When we ran out, it was not replenished. The grounds could have been kept up better but we were there just before peak season and they were doing construction.
shower tap is reversed. hot water is on cold setting
Nice facilities, great location, good value for the money. Staff was very friendly and spoke English well. Breakfast was delicious.
Rooms on the third floor have very low ceilings, tall people beware.
Enjoyed the breakfast; porch has a pleasant view of strawberry fields. Nice artwork on the walls. Pierre was friendly. Bed was comfortable and the inn appeared newly renovated with hardwood floors and stairs.
Our room (7) was small and cramped for two people, with a skylight for a window. There was only one stairway to our third floor room with no other way out.
Owner and his wife were very welcoming. Owner's wife is chef and all meals were excellent. Very relaxing atmosphere, enjoyed having down time on the porch. Motorcycle friendly. Time to Old Quebec is about 15 minutes.
Would have liked a coffee machine in lobby, breakfast was at 8:00 and I am an early riser and need that first cup around 6:30. No hard surface for parking motorcycles. Water pressure in room was just adequate.
The Inn/hotel is in a fantastic location, the surrounding countryside is awesome! The Inn itself is very much in character with its surrounding and has recently been refurbished. It has a comfortable feel and is very presented. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Fresh, tasty and fulfilling. Pierre the owner, a friendly family man made us feel welcome.
The particular room I stayed in was smaller than expected but this is a personal opinion. It was still clean and comfortable however and I consider it is good value for money.
