Kind and friendly people. Cannot say enough about how good the dinner and breakfast was. And great value. Five star meal for very reasonable price. We always will return when in North Hatley
Good location close to village centre in very scenic rural area. Pretty village on lakeshore. Excellent home-cooked breakfast.
Bedroom had a sloping ceiling, very low at one side and awkward to access that side of bed. Not so friendly atmosphere. Small bedroom and bathroom.
Comfortable and peaceful auberge just off the Main Street in North Hatley. We had a charming and comfortable room and great sleep. Very quiet town just off season on our visit which was nice but not for those looking for a wide variety of options for places to eat and things to see and do. Carol is a lovely hostess and her breakfast was absolutely the best in all our B&B and auberge stays in Quebec. Well done!
The breakfasts were phenomenal!
We were disjointed not to be offered dinner reservations when we checked in, and then we missed out on seating. Apparently the dinners are wonderful.
Service Welcoming Size of room Food options for intolerant - allergic person Patio looks like about to rot
Food was excellent and beautifully presented
Room rather small but adequate for overnight stay
Good location near centre of North Hatley.
The staff are not very friendly or helpful. They seem blasé, indifferent. A woman at the reception encouraged us to have a meal that evening, but there was a misunderstanding and no room when we tried to reserve a table, on a Wednesday evening. They could not accommodate us, which I thought showed a lack of flexibility. Poor customer relations skills. Also, the bedroom we stayed in was on the top level, with restricted space/clearance in the bathroom and near the bed because of a steep, angled roof. There were no signs indicating the need for caution. I hit my head more than once (e.g., at night).
Excellent breakfast. Nice room.
The room became hot and there didn't appear to be a way to adjust the air conditioning.
A delightful discovery in North Hatley. The room was cozy and the dinning experience , both dinner and breakfast, was exceptional. Would definitely stay again.
A true gem! Great location and very well maintained B&B. Very welcoming and comfortable room. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Myself, my husband and my 7 year old daughter really enjoyed our stay.
Breakfast was super
The room was a bit crumped
Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable; good breakfast; close to town and river
Double room very small; queen room much roomier
location in North Hatley
Host acted as if we were intruding in her private home not pleasant to us
This was a very comfortable place. It was very clean. The breakfast was nice.
Great location...walk to stores and restaurants in North Hatley.
Location was very good, easy walk to everything in the town. The inn was pleasant and homey. Bilingual staff were not overly friendly, but still very nice. There were no problems at all checking in or out, or with the room or service.
The food was plentiful and lovingly served, but the quality could have been better. The room and bathroom were quite small, and we bumped our heads on the low ceiling a couple of times.
All meals ere excellent and owners very friendly and accomadating.
The decor was horrible and service was very polite but untrained and sloppy dress to service gourmet food. Room was like inside cabin of a cruise , little space and claustrophobic. The double bed has seen its lifespan long passed.
My husband and I spent the Valentines weekend there and we were very happy about the choice we made. The Valentines menu a la carte was exquisite and the serving and atmosphere were excellent. We would return with pleasure.
I thought the room was a bit bigger and there was no place to put your clothes on except hangers on the door, few on the walls and a coat standing hanger.
The breakfasts were varied and delicious.
The room was small and cramped.
