the bathroom could be improved - a bit cheap sometimes ! Shame !
Breakfast and the social lounge is the best.
the beds are too small and stiff
Nothing !!!! Do not even think of staying here !!!!!!
The place is so so dirty. In our hall way is were two broken toilets just sitting there the room is nothing like the picture . We were shaken by this place that we had could not stay there . When I questioned the girl at the front desk about the toilets her reply "Oh yah they are broken" will I figured that out but hide the dam things !!! There were lets just say rough looking sitting on the front steps smoking so not a good site to see when we pulled up ( had to climb around them to get in ) Note they had another place around the block when I last stayed with them .I asked the girl at the front desk why the moved ? she said "to many things breaking but i think that was a much nicer place " I could not agree more . When I expressed my concerns to her and asked for a refund she said " no refunds unless you gave us 24 hours notice " I said "look at the conditions of this place ie.. toilet in the hall " she said "sorry" I think the city should inspect this place !!!
Great staff, location and price!
To take a shower was whether too hot or too cold.
The French staff is amazing! We hang out with some of them, they advice good places!
For the most part, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I was booked under the wrong name but the staff on duty promptly fixed that error and helped me check in. The staff member that I mention below then showed me to the room I was staying in and answered all my questions well. The other guests in the room were very quiet. It was a ten bed room, and it reminded me of being at summer camp (which is a good thing). I was very happy with my experience and I would definitely do it again!
When I was trying to check in, the staff member on duty was engaged in a long conversation with another guest about her life and took some time to attend to myself and other guests. Also, when I booked on Booking.com I paid $72, but upon checking in I discovered that I still had to pay an additional $80. I think this is because the $72 went to booking.com and the $80 was for Le Jazz St. Denis. I'm not completely sure, but I just wanted other people to be aware of this.
The kounge areas were nice and comfortable, and the rooms were very clean, it is in a great spot near bars, restaurants, and 5 min walk to nearestt tube statiin, and also not far from the river, downtown montreal and the latin quarter. Staff were helpful.
The only thing that I didn't like was that I had to pay 5 dollars for laundry and wait for staff to be able to do it x
The walls are paper thin, you only get bed sheets but no blanket, the bathrooms are tiny and in poor condition, not much to eat for breakfast, wifi was only usable on the first floor.
Staff very friendly and helpfull. Right downtown.
Running out of toilet paper, small washrooms,to many things like sink, showers and toilet in a very small washroom for only 1 person.
Location is great Breakfast is good!
The cleaning was very bad
not that ideal for elder people
