Friendly and helpful staff
The staff, especially the inn keeper made the hotel! He was awesome!
Just how far it was from anything. Lady who checked us I. Wasn't really willing yo give us much info and it was a little far from ironman village
In town for a triathlon, the owner was very friendly, even memorized our breakfast order after one time! They gave all the athletes a special breakfast because we were up too early for the regular one, very thoughtful. Beautiful location, close to Mont Tremblant and St Jovite.
The staff is very friendly, the hot breakfast is very good.
Compare to the price, the facilities are not that satisfying. the bathroom is so tiny, the beds are squeaking, very limited WIFI (actually only available in the kitchen)
The breakfast was included & was excellent. It was made per order by the owner.
The motel is old & has not had any upgrades in awhile.
Traveling from Vermont and Montreal, we enjoyed the initial friendliness, information and seclusion not far from Mont Tremblant. Our room was clean and adequate for the price we paid. The breakfast was excellent--what a deal. And the owner was great. Will surely return again.
Genial host Andreas was eager to make our stay comfortable and pleasant and was fluent in several languages. Inn accepted our well-behaved dog with us, unlike almost all of the other accommodations in the region. Handy refrig. in room and nice TV. Breakfast excellent.
While facilities were very clean, the motel is showing significant signs of age. Some usual conveniences were not available, such as hair dryer, microwave. Door lock very old. Decor a bit tired. If you're not a snob, it's a good value.
They allow dogs in certain rooms, Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, Very clean, Excellent breakfast. Easy drive to get into the villages. Shuttle stop right in front. Room was large with small refrigerator. Working wood burning fireplace which we didn't use but would be very nice in winter ski season. Overall, it was a good place to stay if you want a simple, clean, safe, friendly place to come back to after a busy day out and about - especially if you want to bring your dog. (Just be aware you cannot leave the dog alone in the room when you go out.)
No internet access in the rooms. There was free WiFi in "the common areas" which was limited to the dining room and area just around the office. No typical resort amenities in the room, such as coffee maker, hair dryer. Things seemed a little worn out, such as, when we plugged our chargers into the wall outlets, they drooped a bit because the outlets were a little loose. (Phones did charge ok though.) Not much of a view there, which was a little disappointing.
Staff is very nice and gives a positive energy.Breakfast is very good - a lot of fruits, cereals and eggs, ham, bacon.....Coffee was good. Rooms are very clean. Not far from village. Nearby there are many restaurants and a grossary. Not far from Domain Saint Bernard and astrolab.
Friendly staff and outstanding breakfast with generous portions and variety.

Value for money The breakfast The friendly owner
No wifi working in bedrooms or restaurant Road was noisy Too far to walk to town
Very warm and welcoming staff! The owner was very nice and friendly. We picked the cheapest option so we stayed in one of the more modest rooms but it was still very nice, perfectly clean and carefully decorated. Linens and towels were like new, and clean. The included breakfast was a full bacon and eggs type of meal, which is a bit rare in my experience. Breakfast was served in a very cozy and warm dining area. Must be very nice in the winter. There is a city bus stop right in front of the hotel, that either takes you to the tremblant resorts, or to the (very charming) town part of mont-tremblant, as the hotel is located somewhere along the 10km stretch of forest road between the two. That bus was a nice thing to have, we were able to get a few drinks without having to worry about driving back or finding a cab.
None that I can think of. Sure it would have been nice to be at walking distance from the main attractions but for the price it's an awesome deal. (And actually it was nice to get away from the busier areas to get some rest!) The facilities are a little dated, but very well maintained, so that wasn't really a problem either.
The staff are super friendly. I almost hate to say anything bad about our stay because the owner is such a nice person. The breakfast was included in the price of the room, and it's a full breakfast not just a continental breakfast. They have no menus, they just asked us what we wanted. There was cable tv and a mini fridge in our room. AC as well, but we didn't use it. The location was good for us, a short drive from the main street of St. Jovite, although it might be a bit of a hike. (I think the town is now called Ville de Mont Tremblant, although Mont Tremblant proper is a bit farther north) We were visiting family in the area and it was perfect for us. The grounds are full of mature trees and there is a little clearing to lounge in the sun or play frisbee or whatever. Wifi in the common areas, but we didn't use that either.
The price. Quick disclaimer though: It is my opinion that hotels and motels (but especially the motels) in Canada are overpriced, generally by about $20/$30 per night. My husband and I have road tripped extensively through Canada and the States, and that is the common consensus. Just FYI. We stayed in the motel part, but I think there is a building that houses traditional hotel rooms as well, that building might be newer and in better condition. But the building we were in was a bit run down, there was a scary bulge in the roof, the bathroom door didn't shut and there was no screen in the bathroom window. The shower was so awful. I can't believe I'm complaining about too much water pressure, but the spray came out of that shower head at about 180psi! It almost hurt to put your face directly in it! It was really loud! And because so much water came out in such a short amount of time, the hot water lasted about 4 or 5 minutes. But our main complaint is the beds, they are so hard and uncomfortable. I've travelled to over 30 different countries in my life and those beds and pillows are in my top five worst ever. We stayed for 5 nights and we were so exhausted by the time we left.
Despite being a little outdated, they by far make up for it with excellent service! The room was very clean, breakfast was delicious and Andreas had that personal touch that made us feel like VIP's!!
Located near Monte-Tremblant Reasonable rates Nice Staff

Value for money Only a short drive to the slopes Eating places 5 min drive Friendly staff
Very friendly staff, clean comfortable room and a delicious breakfast.
Breakfast was amazing! Andreas was a great host and welcomed us with open arms. The hotel room was small but we were only using it to sleep so it was fine. Good location and proximity to the slopes. About a 6 minute drive.
The room was cold. The heater didn't project heat fast enough.
Staff are nice, Andreas are supper nice wait for me until midnight to check in.
