Tranquilité Excellente cuisine nouvelle
We stopped for just one night on our way to the east coast. There's the lovely main building, then there's the motel. We stayed in the motel, which is located directly on the St. Lawrence River. Great view! Had a little balcony to enjoy the view. Very simple rooms.
Thin walls. I could hear the snoring person in the next room. My room was a little stuffy. Maybe the carpeting needs cleaning.
The location was stellar right on the mighty St. Lawrence River - amazing sunsets and walks on the stony beach, with the sound of waves lapping the shore. Beautiful old library, comfy chairs, a tiny, perfect room with cushioned wicker chairs, great staff. Fabulous espresso!
Service in the restaurant was staggeringly slow, especially since I was one of only two customers and there were four wait staff who did not appear to be busy. It took 20 minutes just to place my order and another 20 to be served - a delicious breakfast!
The view from the balconywas spectacular. It was like on a cruise boat... The restaurant was great. The massage was fabulous.
We were not able to connect to wifi and the phone was not functioning we'll.
Food, staff, views, price
Location, staff assistance, response to needs & helpfulness. Restaurant offers excellent menu & fair prices.
Rooms do not meet expectations.
The old building, friendly staff, great breakfast in the restaurant, though not included.
Location!!! Breathtaking view Cleanliness Restaurant, great food and service Lovely common areas Courteous, helpful staff
Very weak wifi, 3G "dead zone" No mini-fridge or coffee pot in room
the view, the restaurant and the set of the main house is very nice.
The rooms, the space in the washroom is very uncomfortable, the room has an awful smell, you hear everything from the rooms beside and their English is very poor
The private balcony The view of the St. Lawrence river The location (right on the seashore) The antique decor in the main building
Very small room No coffee in the room No iron or ironing board Musty smell
Great location with a great view right from the room, restaurant has an excellent breakfast.
The view of the St.Lawrence from the motel room balcony; the art on the walls in the inn, prompt and friendly service, and the most delicious breakfast (crepes with caramelized apples)
Motel room was small and the bathroom needs a facelift
Very friendly staff, quaint surroundings. Motel room has small deck with a beautiful view of the water. Shore is accessible for walking. Quiet, clean room. Lots of info on local activities. Delicious full breakfast with many trimmings and friendly service.
Room is very small but that is not an issue as we stayed just the one night.
