The only downside was having to pay for wifi, as an overseas visitor this would have been really handy to have included
Location to education event at St. Michael's
Nothing, it was all very suitable.
Staff are very arrogant Wifi is expensive and bad Dirty rooms Homeless at the door
Staff was very rude Policies Wifi is paid (expesive) Cleanlines is poor Elevator always is broke Homeless at the door every time
Comfort, near everything
We enjoyed the location.
We did not like the size of the room for that amount of money. The reception staff weren't very polite. We didn't like that we had to pay for wifi, I have never had to pay for wifi in a hotel before.
Great location. Close to everything you want and need. Excellent price. Friendly staff.
The heating/air system in our room really was inefficient. The vent sent hot or cold air on our face as it was inches from the bed. If the fan was not blowing air on us, the temperature in the room dropped down very quickly and we froze... terrible heating system.
paying for wifi that did not work fridge and hair dryer not being tested so both not working. Expense of staying a little late. Should not be so high.
Because of flooding, we were not allowed to leave our bags with the front desk. Why was this our problem?
The location and the rooms were all great
The staff were busy and when I tried to explain they made a mistake they refused to listen to me and dismissed my concern.
Great location and staff are very helpful! I was worried about the parking after reading some reviews but it is not really a problem.
Big plus is the location and the price but a better cafe in the lobby might be nice. I didn't use it to be honest because it looked unappealing.
The paid wifi is a big pain! For codes, you are asked how many devices you have as each one needs its own log in code - it's all very irritating. It should be free!!! Period!!!
Right in the heart of dundas square
Parking was 20
Really down town but doesn't have a hight quality of service like the other hotel dt toronto for 6 dollars more next time I will go to the eaton chelsea the wifi is free !!!!
Paid for internet ( we are in 2015!!!!!!!!!!) paid for parking but after checkout no room key to be able to go inside the parking !!!! on the description of the room they said 225m2 the room is not even 8m2 even we are a couple they give us twin bed ......
They extended my check out to 1 PM on the day that I was leaving Very clean and comfortable room. I like to have a hot bath to help me sleep. They had very deep tubs and lots of hot water.
1. Given a room that was still being cleaned! Had to request another. Long discussion to solve simple problem. 2. Explicitly requested wifi for only 24 hours, not whole stay, also a very long discussion. Then, on check-out, discovered they charged me for my whole stay anyway. Was assured they would correct the over-charge, but they didn't until I reminded them later. 3. Loud chatting by cleaning staff outside my room.
I was charged for unnecessary things and my visa was charged before I even stayed which it shouldn't have been
I liked the location, the staff and the fact there was no carpeting in my room... feels less gross when you can see (or not see!) the dirt on the floor.
I wished the internet was included. I would pay an extra $5 a night if I knew this was included.
Super unprofessional experience. Had the fire alarm go off at midnight the night before an important interview. The firefighters got there and the staff didn't take a second to make an announcement to let us know it is safe to stay in our rooms and sleep. I was up for hours trying to reach the receptor to see if my safety was in danger and no one was picking up. Completely unprofessional and put our safety at risk. When I spoke to the manager the next morning she said 'oh we were busy' in response to me trying to get a hold of someone for over an hour to see if there was a real fire.
The room appeared clean - rather stark with parquet floors instead of carpet. Now I know why! I was eaten alive by bed bugs that I saw and collected in a cup to prove to the front desk. Two others I heard of stayed and didn't have a problem but I did and it's given me a whole new perspective on hotel stays.
Location, cleanliness, value
Paying for wifi? Its 2015. And despite paying, wifi didnt work at all. Wifi is a given at any business hotel these days, - dump that charge. And fix the wifi.
I liked the blue wall and the wood finish, it was a nice touch. I also liked the view from the window.
location: very close to shopping area, museums, sightseeing options etc. very comfortable bed, nice rooms, modern bathrooms very friendly and helpful staff cosy bar with good beer and food opposite the hotel
Wifi in the rooms just with extra fees rooms in the front quite noisy (buisy street)
We stayed there for 5 nights; everything was fantastic. Rooms are a bit small, but location of the hotel couldn't be better. Walking distance to main attractions. It takes an hour to get to the airport by public transport for CAD3 (you can't go wrong with that). The only inconvenience was paid wifi, but Bond Place Hotel has two computers in the lobby that guests can use, and every bar and restaurant in Toronto has free wifi, as well as 2 min walk to Toronto Eaton Centre to free wifi. We would definitely stay there again.
