The manager was helpful and they bought us a dinner...very decent of them.
I found a fingernail in my bead. It stabbed me in the leg and was disgusting.
I found my room furniture dusty...
The hotel is ideally situated with everything close to hand. The staff go out of their way to welcome you and gladly provide any assistance you may need, such as taxis, luggage storage after checkout etc. The accommodation is comfortable with all you need, plenty of clean towels and hot water too and at great prices.
Very cordial staff. Room was large and roomy. Good location.
No continental breakfast. Victoria is the closest thing to Europe on the west coast. A breakfast with no plastic forks and a generous spread would be perfect.
Huge comfortable bed, warm rooms and reception.
Towels had stains on them, walls are thin/not even a little sound proof.
Clean rooms, good location, well priced. Can't got wrong.
There is a night club on one side of the building so it can be noisy at nigg.
Central to walking about the city. Very attentive staff.
location, support of service staff.
old building structure, small/old rooms with only half-windows (make sure you face south to get some sun light in).
Rails and bars in the bath/shower for safety. Access to computer.
We were six girls so we got 2 rooms on the 6th floor. Each room had 2 double beds and couch that could turn into a bed. We walked everywhere, and this hotel was in a good location for that. Plenty of restaurants and shopping near by. Clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff.
Queen beds would be better than doubles. Slow, small elevator No breakfast Had to get a suite in order to have a fridge in the room.
- friendly staff
- terrible noise from the nightclub untill about 01:30 am - elevator was absolutely slow and permanent occupied by the staff. - directly in front of the window an ugly high wall, so we felt us in a prison - internet access not safe and to be forced, every time when going in to accept special conditions - noise of the facility air condition system by open window
The staff were extremely helpful with all our questions. It was our last weekend with our Daughter before she set off for her first year of University. Your staff made us feel Welcome and at ease. We loved the Hotel and it's proximity to great restaurants and shopping... Only a 15 min drive to the University of Victoria. You can bet this will become our home away from home for all future visits to see our girl... Thank you for the great Hospitality!
Never get to stay long enough;)
Tired old facility costing too much. Old blood on a pillow case. Accomodations substandard for the price charged
Staff friendly, very competent. One went out of her way to secure tickets on a great whale watching excursion for us. Valet parking very easy - quick turn around time from request to delivery of car.
Location not very fancy as the hotels at the harbour but close to everything. For us it was great.Very friendly and efficient staff.Good free wifi at the room, room big enough for 3 people( we booked one with kitchen and living room.Hotel provides bikes for guests.
Housekeeping noisy at corridors and not good enough( don't wash dishes properly, lampshades with dust, toiletries not fully replaced). There should be better pillows, they were not this confortable. There should be more bikes for guests( only 4 of them) and unfortunately they don't provide chains and locks so it' s impossible to go somewhere and leave the bikes unattended.
Bronte was excellent and deserves special praise.
My understanding is that B/W plus includes breakfast. We asked about this and were told that this B/W doesn't provide that service. As recently as a few days prior to going on this holiday we saw TV advertising stating B/W includes breakfast. We stayed two days and so paid 2 X meals. We will reconsider our staying at B/W again
Complimentary bikes for guests to use on a 3 hour basis. Great for sight seeing!
Liked the location, could walk any where down town. Service and staff were were excellent.
No pool or complimentary breakfast.
We got a lovely reception from efficient, personable staff. The room, though basic, was clean.
We were disappointed that the room was not very comfy. The AC was exceedingly noisy, there were no chairs aside from the straight-backed office chair to sit in, the glasses were plastic; overall, the room was gloomy. We were not in a hurry to go back to the room at the end of the day.
Compared to other facilities at this price not worth it. Staying at Travelodge tonight less than 1/2 price better room
