Quick am drive to ski hill, excellent breakfast
The service at the restaurant is a bit long. No pool/spa.
Great customer service, clean and spacious room, pet friendly, quiet bar with a wood-burning fireplace was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner, and a great restaurant.
Clean room Good wifi Good breakfast included
Room not completly renovated
The hotel served its purpose and gave us a central place to lay our heads for our ski holiday. It was clean and the room served our basic needs.
We didnt like the fact that when returning to the room after a long cold day of skiing, we would find the room's heating was turned off with the thermostst set on the lowest temperature setting. That's no wat to welcome your guests back.
Nice and clean hotel located within walking distance of downtown Baie St Paul, although driving might be a better option. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the staff was extra friendly. Breakfast, wifi and parking included are a plus.
Some rooms are facing road 138 which can get a bit noisy during the day. Although close to downtown you are actually more on the fringe of town and not in the center of the action. Bathroom products are somewhat minimalistic so you might consider bringing your own shampoo, moisturizing cream, etc. Towels could use an upgrade.
Three ''c's'': Cleanliness Comfort Calm
Some difficulty for restaurant staff to cope with work volume. Service was good and friendly, but we mfelt bad to see waiters RUNNING literally during dinner.
Baie Saint Paul Hotel was a wonderful place to stay, and provided a full breakfast that you could order from the menu. Clean, friendly, reasonably priced, and our dog was welcome
We stayed 2 nights here. Clean, comfortable beds, quiet room on second floor, staff spoke English. Good location, right next to entry into route 362 which is the beginning of the beautiful route du fleuve. About 30 mins from parc du jardins. Good Wi-Fi.
For such a nice hotel, there were things that were missing that would have made guests more comfortable. Like there was no complimentary breakfast. Tea and coffee in room were extra cost. Cheap shampoo from a tacky shampoo dispenser in the tub. Little nickle and dime things like that that were missing. Also, pretty expensive for our budget of three young people traveling.
A great place to stay. The staff were very helpful. Ask about the bike/walking path if you want to walk downtown. It is preferable to walking down the highway as there are no sidewalks until you get a bit closer to downtown.
Rooms were good size; staff helpful and friendly and spoke English. Good choice in breakfast selection which was included in the price.
In general I wish hotels would indicate when booking if there is an additional charge for animals when it is indicated in advance you are travelling with them.
Mattress needed to be replaced!
The room though large was probably the darkest and drabbest I have ever stayed in. The only word for it was depressing. Definitely not worth the price paid even at high season.
Carrying luggage up the stairs.
The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. The person at the desk was very accommodating and offered good advice about the local art exhibits and restaurants.
Excellent breakfast with the room. Very pet-friendly!
Very nice and clean place, goog brekfesf.
We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and bed mattresses were nice and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was good , service was quick and the waitresses were cheerful , friendly and efficient.
The carpet in the hallway gave off an odour. You may want to consider going with wood flooring.
We arrived VERY late (2am) and our keys were waiting for us. Rooms were clean, plenty of towels. We had a great breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English and as we don't speak French. A great location and I will be going again.
the pillows...just me maybe
Beds very confortable Room quiet People of the restaurent very nice Close to cycle path
Remote of TV did not work
Large, roomy and clean rooms. Sliding patio doors for access to outside made taking luggage to car immediately outside very easy. Very good food with large portions.
excellent service with a great breakfast
I liked everything about the place. My car had broken down and the staff there were so very helpful! I would definitely stay there again.
The only bad thing was the power had gone out, but that was no fault to the hotel. There was freezing rain and the whole town was without power :)
Large rooms English-friendly Best (mabe the only) seafood pizza in the country
