We liked the fresh food a variety of the included breakfast. House made granola and baking were the best. Fantastic hot tubs in the courtyard.
-Service - wonderful staff -Hot tub area -room/hotel interior aesthetics -Above average continental breakfast -Good WiFi -Proximity to town
-Our room was really hot - we left the -thermostat at 0 and were still warm -Bed was fine -Original room - we switched into a room we really liked, but the first room were placed in was on the ground floor right next to the elevators and facing the main street in town, so it would have been very noisy/bright at night
Location was excellent, with bus stop nearby and a short stroll to downtown. Hotel was modern and clean. Breakfasts were good, with plenty of fresh fruit and renowned granola! Good sleep despite trains during the night - we had a rear room, away from Banff Avenue.
Breakfast room was a bit small and was in the basement, leading to waits to be seated, and organisation could have been improved. The hotel lacked a good reception area in which to sit and had no bar.
Free upgrade to a larger room. Very good breakfast!
Some old fashioned details.
Location - fantastic. Close to everything Free wifi - a must these days Rooms were split into two rooms which was nice
Walls were paper thin and we could hear the street noise and neighbours. Request a room away from the Main Street
Location, 5 min to downtown. Very healthy breakfast and a superb granola. Room was spacious enough
Our room faced the main road, so it was a bit noisy until 10:00pm and in the morning. Breakfast room subterrain, no Windows, OK in winter but in Summer ?
We have stayed here before and like last time loved the feel of the place, it's not new but it's in good condition. Love the breakfasts and ease of parking.
It didn't snow, they promised me snow!
The hotel is really nice and there are two hot tubs in the center of the hotel. I love the way everything is laid out and the breakfast included is always yummy!
The tv's are very outdated, we wanted an early night and to rent a movie but no options.
Great hotel. Convenient location.
Wifi very slow.
We were upgraded when we arrived, big room with a comfortable bed. Very clean and tidy. We walked up town each day and didn't even use our hire car, secure parking. Breakfast was "continental" but it ended up being a hot breakfast as well with bacon and eggs etc so absolutely delicious! Staff were ALWAYS so friendly and willing to help with any questions. The wifi was okay as well, we were able to upload pictures onto our pages and skype without a problem. We will definitely be staying there again!!
The hotel is nicely located 5 minutes walking from the village center - very quiet and yet close to everything. It has a great breakfast and the outdoor pools are amazing! The staff is very polite and efficient.
They should really work on their Internet/Wifi, maybe the worse I've seen in many years.
Good position only 5 min walk to the main restaurants. Very nice hot tube. Nice room. Good breakfast variety-
Beds too short and small. The drinks at the breakfast should be self service.
The rooms are very small, close together. You can literally hear everything around you. Construction was the view outside of our balcony.
I love it because it's close to the tourist spot in Banff and we enjoyed the pool beside our room and the breakfast was perfect !and the most important things happened is we really appreciate the staffs and housekeeping who clean our room because they're all honest.i forgot my ring and I remembered after 3days I thought im gonna lost it but when I tried to phone the hotel they give it back to me and they sent the ring back to me at Vancouver !! That's amazing!!!thank you so much I can't forgot that im so happy and thankful I'm sure im going back there soon.
I didn't like the glass slide door in our room because it feels like we are not safe.and when we ate breakfast we are not satisfied for the juice because it's just in a small glass they put.wish to add more a little bit:-)
Hot tub, very close to everything, nice and big rooms, balcony, view
Poor internet connection. Wouldn't care if it wasn't Christmas, but talking with family overseas on Skype was impossible... But anyhow, high recommendations
From checking in to checking out we were delighted with the customer service delivery. Rooms huge, comfy & wifi fast. 5 star granola & good choice of breakfast items, all freshly replenished. Hotel location good as a short walk into centre & very close to ski bus stop. Super coffee shop next to the lobby. Will stay here again.
Ski storage room could be a bit tricky when very crowded.
Hall way that was exposed to the elements.
Location was excellent Great value for your money
Air flow in room was poor and caused dry mouth and nose.
Great location, two hot tubs, steam room and rooms were all excellent. Will definatly stay here again.
Wifi was very slow in room.
Location Hot tub (when it worked) Breakfast Parking Coffee shop
Attitude of staff at check in was poor. (tall guy, no name badge) Reported that hot tub was cold and not working. was told that he knows. A sign (hot tub out of order) would have saved lots of people a chilly plunge. Bed was beyond bad, worst three nights sleep ever
Location, hot pools, and breakfast
very spotty and unreliable wifi
The hot tubs and the Whitebark Cafe were also awesome.
fantastic location and excellent value for money. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Love the outside hot tub and the location of the hotel. Just a block or two from the stores and restaurants on Banff Ave. The breakfast room is very nice and the breakfast is great for a complimentary one!
On a few occasions when I have stayed here the room was unbearably hot. (I have only stayed in the winter!! ) The window had to be opened and therefore all the street noise kept up awake. The tv is very dated. The price of staying here is variable. My last trip was around $95/night...booked 8 months ahead. If I had booked just a week before it would have been closer to $170. This is a great hotel but $170 is a steep price to pay for off season!!
I enjoyed the staff Walking distance to downtown.
Our first day we had them clean the room, they didn't replace the face cloths and left a cushion and bed runner on the floor. Our second day we chose the coffee in lieu of housecleaning. One coffee for 2 people?
