Friendly staff, clean room w daily maid service, excellent free wifi.
Bright hallways w plenty of light coming through around the door at night. Had to strategically place luggage to block the light as I like it very dark to sleep at night.
The location was great. The rooms were big and very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating when we asked for a late check out.
There was no coffee maker or cups in the room. I did get a kettle from the front desk as I had some tea with me. But they didn't have any cups!
Marble floors, mutiple stairwells Comfortable beds Parking
Did not sleep. Eaten alive.
Decent room, clean with good Wi-Fi. Location is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The sound isolation. It can be very noisy, even at night.
Excellent location, friendly staff who are helpful, clean
The sound isolation. It can be very noisy, also at night. So it's not very convenient for light sleepers.
Squeaky and hard to open hotel room door. Maintenance of this old hotel is lacking.
This time they upgraded the three of us to a suite . Very comfortable. Located in Vancouver's heart. Close to Courthouse. Located in centre of shopping? Parking is very reasonable but outside.
The room was clean and bed comfortable, the staff were very helpful with luggage
Noise from the corridor
location great for dining and shopping cleaner/newer than I expected given the bargain price friendly and helpful staff
room door seemed small relative to its frame, light/noise can stream in as a result small shower stall
A friendly greeting at the hotel with the offer of a free upgrade to a twin room.
The main hallway feels abit like a hostel. It could be made more inviting with art work, area rugs etc.
Good location, nice room, comfortable
it's a good choice if you find a place to stay night with this price for your whole day activities.
Everything is ok to me except the smell of the carpet, not only the smell but also the carpet itself is so disgusting. I recommend you to bring your own soap and shampoo while you staying this hotel. They're really bad quality. There are many groceries store nearby, so if you don't prepare, pls buy it.
Excellent location and value for your money.
The room facing Robson St. let in all the traffic noise. Next time I would ask for a room at the back of the hotel.
Our flight was overnight from Honolulu which meant we were at Vancouver around 5.30am They were able to have the room available for us at 11.00am which was very helpful.
Very clean, helpful staff, excellent location
old fashion decore
- good location on Robson Street - helpful staff - clean bathroom -good value for money
- no elevator - carpet had stains - wifi didn't always work
The location is excellent. The staff is polite.
My booking says "on-site parking", but this is not true. Taxes are not included in the quoted price.
Very good location in Robson St. Excellent and very hospitable front desk staff. Quiet room.
Door let in a lot of light requiring me to sleep with an eye mask.
LOCATION IS VERY GOOD. ROOM IS LARGE AND WARM.
I spoke with 4 different staff members throughout my stay and they were all consistently friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had updated furnishings. Also, there were a surprisingly good amount of channels to choose from on TV. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Vancouver. I don't understand why it's so cheap!
The hallway echoes every little sound straight into the room, but I got used to it. The door in one of the rooms I stayed in did not close properly without the use of force, which led to the door being ajar while I was out all day. Only one key was available for a double room, but the staff were very accommodating with allowing us to leave the key for one another at the front desk, repeatedly.
All was fine. Perhaps more fresh air into rooms.
