It felt very peaceful, clean, and the friendliness of the ppl, the hospitality of the store owners was remarkable. Where we stayed it was close enough to everything yet just out of the way for peace and relaxation. Can not wait to go back. The beach was amazing with lots for the kids to do of all ages. free parking, snack truck available, Icecream shack,Lots of seating, life guards on duty. I was very impressed. P

Great waterfront with free parking and plenty for kids.
Great waterfront with free parking and plenty for kids. A lot of great places to eat for different budgets. We ate at Theo’s, Fionn McCools and Thai Plate.
You will need a vehicle to get around.
Just don’t stay at the Stone Gate Inn.

Simple, clean, everything you need!
Simple, clean, everything you need! Fridge and microwave and a balcony over looking the lake are a plus. Nothing fancy but the owners are super nice and it's very reasonable.
Tim Horton's is just down the street and there is lots to do in Orillia or just sit back with a drink on the balcony overlooking the scenery!

Orillia is a perfect get-away spot.
Orillia is a perfect get-away spot. Casino is handy, boat tour on Lake Couchiching worth taking, boutiques for shopping, Low Carb #1 on Rama Rd. great selection for diet conscious people, and a variety of terrific eating places. Fair priced accommodations throughout the city and I highly recommend Lakeside Inn on Creighton.

Orillia is a lovely city , historic with the Stephen Leacock Museum , right on the waters of Lake Simcoe and Couchiching , good shopping and many restaurants. Easy driving from Toronto and GTA. Also very close to Casino Rama for those who wish to gamble and also they have great entertainment. We saw Chris DeBurgh the night we stayed.

Only disappointing thing was that at check in, I was told they keep complimentary cookies in lobby after check in times. I was so looking forward to it. Checked every hour from check in till 8pm and there was not any brought out. When I asked night time desk guy. Chinese guy, Alex I think or Eric something like that. He was not friendly. Said the cookies were frozen in the back. I requested one or two for my husband and I but he refused to get us one. Got the impression that he was just not wanting to make an effort or do anything on his night shift but sit in the back room. Was sadly disappointed.
Property was super clean and well maintained. The gentleman on the front desk was fantastic. We were there for a concert at Casino Rama and the place was really booked up but we never heard a peep. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was spotless. The complimentary breakfast was the best “hotel breakfast” we’ve had in a long time! Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
Hotel was nice, a bit dated but clean, next to the foodland and had a kitchenette with full size fridge (in the room we stayed in) which was nice for beverages and snacks. Hotel is a good location if you'd like to walk the trail down to the water (although there is a fairly steep hill to get to the path and about a 5km wide flat trail to do so)
Nothing - the only one thing that was positive about this hotel was that the Receptionist did not charge me the two nights I booked at this hotel - I was not charged at all and I was able to leave right away - this hotel should not be on booking.com it is not a hotel for families or for anyone visiting Orillia
We come back here every year due to the fact that everyone takes care of you.
We had a problem this year with our flyout plane in our yearly fishing trip to Cochrane and couldn't get us out in time and after a call we were taken care of.
A great team there.
I always recommend Comfort Inn
Bananas, yogurt, juice and coffee is not a breakfast. I booked this hotel because it said they offered breakfast so I was willing to pay a little more to get breakfast. Ended up eating a wonderful breakfast down the street
Appreciated breakfast. It was fine but the room was too small, crowded and some food items were not readily available. When there is a large group staying at hotel and all eating at once, better planning would help.
Friendly service. The hotel is not the most modern, but it
was clean and everything was to our satisfaction. We enjoyed the quiet location. Would recommend it very much if you need a clean place to stay.
This hotel was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities were very good. I wish the lounge had have been open later. But otherwise no complaints.
We were attending an event really close by. The location and the price compared to other accommodations in Orillia were the deciding factors to stay there.
