Location - useful break between Vancouver and Jasper, if you need to break the journey and the next stop is just that bit too far. Staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Hearty food. Bed - comfortable, good night's sleep.
Location - cache creek is not a place to put on your bucket list. Suggest push on to Kamloops. Odd bed rooms - walls very thin. Fridge in room noisy. Bath in bedroom (why?), AND bath in bathroom (which dripped). Rooms worn and tired.
Restaurant and motel combined. In-room spa. Our room was quiet in the back away from highway
Had to have front desk turn on and off spa from master fuse panel. Elec probs. Spa took the place of desk/chair. Tight quarters. Had to get ice from bartender.
We arrived at the lodge and they had no booking for us. It was really as the lady told us she doesn't like the computer and that we should have be still using paper pads to book . I travel 13 hrs day with small children landed in cache creek very small town with no options I was enraged to say the least Tara
The staff was outstanding. The owner was very friendly and very customer orientated. Her daughter works there as well and was just as energetic and personable.
The room we had was a little cozy. My husband and I shared a double bed but it was adequate.
The lodge and restaurant staff provided excellent service. It was quite affordable and the ambiance was unique. Would stay there again.
There is not much to do in Cache Creek at night.
The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. On an overnite stay it was a nice place. I would stay again.
Nothing (... although waitresses in restaurant were very pleasant and the food wasn't too bad)
Everthing. You wouldn't let your pet rate stay there if you had a choice.
Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Restaurant on-site was good.
There was no mini-fridge or coffee maker in the room. Front desk staff was rarely present.
Very noisey sound coming from in the walls. Hard to sleep.
Good location. Nice folks. Good food.
All rooms may have been non-smoking, yet, the smokers would sit right outside their doors, NEXT to open windows of other (all)rooms, and the Stench would enter the other rooms. Waited up to 15 minutes to have someone check us in. Smokers standing in front of the main entrance smoking. Air conditioning not working.
Nice cozy convenient stop along the way to Vancouver.
Amazing staff, dog friendly, and cozy rooms! Plenty of space for dogs to enjoy!
Last time we stayed here the pillows were too flat. This time we simply requested extra pillows when we reserved the room, and they were waiting for us when we got there. Problem solved. Also we were running late and called them to say we would not arrive until after midnight, and the manager said she'd leave the key under the doormat of the room for us and we could do the paperwork in the morning. We arrived dog-tired, and quickly got in our room and to bed. We really appreciated their trust in us.
Great place. Good value. Excellent staff. Will stay there again. Highly recommend.
Food very good
No hair dryer in room or available [?] No coffee makings in room and restaurant not open until 8 although they did open early for us at 7:30 on request We had our own coffee kettle etc so not an issue with us but could be for another
Everything was good
friendly staff, food was good
We had stayed at the Bear Claw 4 or 5 years ago and really enjoyed it as a quaint place to stay. This time was not as nice. Staff were still friendly and the food was still pretty good, but the room was more run-down, as if very little maintenance had been done over the years. The shower curtain was also quite dirty. It could still be a nice rustic place to stay, but it does need some updating.
The friendly greeting and the helpful service very nice people, great breakfast
every thing was great
The entire experience.
The heater did not turn off automatically. Woke up hot.
We like every thing there. Beautiful location excellent people and yummy food.
We enjoyed eating breakfast at the Bears Claw restaurant. The food was good and the staff friendly.
The pillows were too flat.
location and the restaurant - friendly staff
Blew a breaker when the space heater and hair dryer were on at the same time!
no coffee pot in the room
Décor, i.e. log structure, bathroom, bed very clean.
Furniture, heater unit required dusting, remote should be sanitized after each guest leaves.
Nice clean and affordable
