This was an incredible place to stay while visiting Cape Breton for the Cabot Trail. The service is great, Denise is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in the single king room and it was palatial. The jacuzzi tub was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. I have nothing but good things to say, and would highly recommend to anyone traveling through Baddeck.
Speaking with Denise the owner was a wonderful opportunity to learn about Cape Breton. We are so thankful to have met her. She was able to answer our many questions in a thoughtful manner.
Would have enjoyed being able to open a bedroom window.
Beautifully furnished room. Amazing views of the lake. Breakfasts were superb! Owners were friendly and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Staff was fabulous, personable and helpful!
Small room. Difficult to relax with a drink.
Breakfast was sensational. Scenery beautiful. Friendly staff.

Room, hospitality, location, host.
Water pressure in shower was terrible.
Breakfast was great Bed was comfortable Staff were very friendly Location was great
Used the jacuzzi tub and the room became quite warm as a result, would have liked to open a window to cool things down but they do not open.
Our host was wonderful, serving yummy breakfast and gently engaging guests in conversation with each other. That was my favorite part. The room was comfortable and the whirlpool was greatly appreciated after hiking the Cabot Trail!
Beautiful quiet rooms, choice of 4 full breakfasts. Very pleasant staff. Great location just on the outskirts of Baddeck but close to centertown.
Beautiful location overlooking the bay. The breakfast was amazing!
Bed sheets and the shower
The Jacuzzi bath tubs in some rooms were excellent and a lot of fun. Having a separate shower is also good. The breakfasts were excellent -- we had outstanding blueberry pancakes. The location is also very nice -- view of the Bras D'or and adjacent to the Alexander Bell Museum.
This is a beautiful location on the water. The view is magnificent. Breakfast was 5star quality. If you are in this are I recommend you try this out, you will be amazed.
There is nothing to not like.
The staff were cheerful and warm, and the breakfasts alone were reason enough to book another stay...Beds were comfortable, and a jacuzzi tub plus shower were a pleasure. The scenery right on the lake was very welcoming.
Wish the rooms had a bit of wall decor to bring the outside ambiance inside. The tub felt a bit gritty, might need a more complete scrubbing. Television was very tiny.
Location, breakfast excellent
Room a little small. Storage for accessories is tight
I have never stayed at a B&B before but this fantastic, I wouldn't hesitate again. It was the perfect setting for a couple's getaway, the boys golfed and the ladies went sailing. After a full day of fun, dinner at the Telegraph House, wow!!! What a great time!
So gracious, fun loving and helpful. Wonderful breakfasts with enough variety for 3 mornings and lovely table settings.
Thank you so much to Bill and Star and Denise. We loved Baddeck and you made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. Loved our room, the view and all your help with info about the region. We would return in a heartbeat. Go Steelers!
Not one thing.
This B&B has a beautiful view of the lake in Baddeck. The charming hostess offered the best breakfast we found in all of our travels. She offered great information on the surrounding area. We loved our stay and have already highly recommended this spot to other travellers.
Hot tub was great after a long day of riding the Cabot Trail. Choice of delicious breakfasts in the morning. Staff were welcoming and informative.
The location was perfect and it was a great jumping off point for our Cabot Trail adventures. Denise, the owner, is delightful and friendly and made us feel right at home. Her breakfast was wonderful, especially the blueberry pancakes.
We were in the room with the dripping shower head and it was too crowded with furniture. It was a bit weird to have a massive jetted tub in the room.
The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The washroom was quite luxurious. The view from our room was like a post card.
The breakfast was very generous. In the interest of not wasting food I would have like to take the leftovers. We were advised that they could not provide a container for the leftovers so half my breakfast was discarded.
Everything. The whole place is wonderfully elegant, especially the breakfast room and the owner was lovely to talk to. Definitely plan to return!
There was nothing I didn't like. Not a lot of room for parking when place is full and no microwave in room when I wanted to heat up my tea from Tim's but that's to be expected at a B&B. Some may find the shower stall a bit small.
charming, tasteful, comfortable! Breakfast was AMAZING!
Wonderful blueberry pancakes
friendly host/owner, lovely breakfast room with a view.
we were in unit #5 and found it and the en-suite cramped with too many chairs, and the room had no chest of drawers to store your clothing, and contained no desk.
