Best Western PLUS Chemainus Inn  

Because of our small dog we were put in a room closest to the loby. In the am it was too noisy too early & it is only natural for a dog to bark when strangers are talking outside our door. The dog rooms should be in a quiet area.

Comfortable beds, pool area, conveniently located near the theatre and the town of Chemanus.

This is a very nice, modern Best Western property. The attention to detail including the pet treats and wipes in the lobby is a very nice touch and makes pet owners feel very welcome. The hot breakfast buffet offered a large variety of options beyond the common selection seen at most hotels.

Room/suite was very nice

I didn't need anything so fancy. Room with a bed was all I was looking for. Also, the Wifi kept cutting out. Wasn't able to get connected to receive my emails. Very disappointing.

We loved the design of the terrace and the City lily pond. We were fortunate enough to have excellent weather so enjoyed the waterlilies and turtles in the water as well as an excellent brunch.

Directions to drive to the hotel were poor on Google: the address did not match up with the name of the street.

The pillows where uncomfortable mattress very firm

hte peaceful atmosphere.....even music as you enter the Hotel. Also the smell of cedar wood made it very inviting.

We stayed at two Best Western Hotels. Chemainus was lovely and clean and good breakfast. Victoria was twice the price and half the hotel. I suppose this is due to the age of the hotel. Both had great food. The staff were lovely in both and we would certainly look to Best Western again .

People were so friendly and helpful. Room was great. Good breakfast too. Would stay again.

Since I have osteoporosis in both knees I prefer ground floor accommodation, but we were put on the 3rd floor. Not a big deal, but a reason for ignoring the request would have been appreciated. Feel it should have been acknowledged. Everything else very good. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff were very polite and helpful. Room lovely and clean. Breakfast delicious with plenty of gluten free options. All together a more than comfortable stay. You would be crazy not to choose this hotel!

We left behind a small pillow, and when we stopped by 5 days later, it was there for us. Good work!

I left a note about difficulties making a call to Powell River, B.C. The desk staff were finally helpful.

Great breakfast buffet includes a waffle maker. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, up-to-date, well equipped rooms.

The included "High-Speed Wireless Internet" is not really high-speed. I managed to get 1.5Mbps on download speed, and after a call to tech support* it stayed connected with a band-width tweak from their end, but not quite good enough for watching seamless streaming - not even short clips. * Tech support was a bit brusk, and the front desk a little defensive about the connection, but let's face it, our expectations for wireless have gone up, and 1.5Mbps does not meet them.
