Room faced highway and therefore noisy, but maybe all the rear-facing ones were reserved already

Exceptionally clean, comfortable.

This is the only decent hotel in all of Smiths Falls. The staff have gotten to know me by name as I usually go there once a month. I always book this hotel for it's comfort, location, and staff friendliness and helfulness. There's lots of restaurants, a Walmart, and a Cdn. Tire to go to so it's very convenient if I need to get anything while staying there.

At one point during the night some kind of heat/air conditioner clicked on and it sounded like a locomotive going right through the room. It woke me up.

Noisy air-con units and paper thin walls; noise of people getting up at 6am and afore mentioned air-con made for very disturbed sleep.

The beds were comfortable and a quiet room.

The breakfast area was poorly maintained. The orange juice containter near empty and not refilled. The bread and bagel bin near empty and not refilled. The tables had not been wiped clean after others. Staff needs to be more aware of replenishing items at approx. 8:30a.m. It is probably the busiest time for older people to dine. In our room - The tv did not work - had no satelite signal. We got into our room late so did not bother to get assistance but mentioned it in the morning at front desk. The shower curtain was torn at the top- needed replacing. I also think that the coffee makers should not be placed in the bathroom for hygenic reasons. I never use because of this.

They tried to charge us more than the booking.com price! I refused to sign, saying that wasn't the price I was given online, and had to produce a printout for them to give it to me. Very sneaky.

Staff at the front desk was very help ful and friendly.

Housekeeping not very good , under the bed were empty candy bar containers and behind the bed tables was garbage we had to cleanup.

Sehr freundlicher, bemuehter Empfang, Aussen- und Inneneindruck sehr sauber, Zimmer wurde schon mittags bereitgestellt, schoener sauberer Pool, gutes Fruehstueck, Lage nahe zum Rideau-River. - Jederzeit wieder!

La proximité du Canal Rideau pour y faire du bateau, comme nous La piscine, chambre propre, frigidaire Prix abordable avec bon petit déjeuner, bon service serve yourself

Did not like the restaurant that was recommended - kilt and ? Not a great meal and took a long time to come.

Probably the nicest hotels we stayed at during our 9 days trip through Ontario. STaff was great and room was clean.

Cold hotel,tv and 1 lamp not working,renos being done when I wanted to take a nap, room cleaned too late in the afternoon,impossiblity to get an extension til 1 pm for check-out.
