Best Western Plus Montreal Downtown- Hotel Europa    

This is a great little hotel in the downtown area, not far from the Central Railroad Station. We were very impressed with it, and would stay again.

Stairs down from the outside door to the reception. If you cannot access stairs, call ahead, you can get through the restaurant on the mezzanine.

Downtown area, close to everything.

We had a king sized bed room. It was very spacious and clean! The location was great as we went to see a Habs game and the hotel is literally a 5 minute walk to the Bell Centre. It is also very centrally located for shopping and restaurants. It also has a Cora's inside the hotel which was convenient

While I liked the hardwood floors it being winter we had to use a towel on the floor for our shoes to not leave puddles so I would suggest to management to place mats in the room for shoes. Also every night out room was engulfed with the smell of whatever the restaurant was cooking which was great one night because it smelt like steak but the other night was not so pleasant. We were also in a room right beside the elevator which was a bit noisy with people coming and going

I was only there for 2 nights, but the location and cost were excellent, plus having the parking across the street was a bonus.

Second stay here and I love the location! The hotel was clean and everything worked! No nosy heater in the room and ice machine too

The front desk had one staff member who knew how to check in and out and I got double charged for my stay They could not find my reservation even tho I had booked 2 months ahead of time $20 parking which is outdoor.

Good location, easy walking distance to old town, Mont Royal, Metro station, shopping district and restaurants and bars. The staff were lovely. They have free WiFi. On site store and fitness centre. Rooms were clean and well appointed.

Rooms are a little small, fine for me though.

Heating was un acceptable. It is done with an sir conditioning device which works very loudly! Not able to sleep because of that!

Easy access to all shopping and restaurants. Cleanliness and courtesy of staff. Comfortable bed and the room was quiet!

The wi-fi failed on my second day at the hotel. It was a disappointment. this is the only negative comment about my stay.

Friendly housekeeping staff Location

- Despite there being few people in the hotel (it seemed), I was put in a room with windows against a wall, beside the elevator and across from the maintenance staff main closet. I slept little. The room was extremely noisy (and walls are thin). - The fitness room was not available (holiday Thanksgiving) - One of the staff called me in the evening to see if I was paying «cash», even though I had left my credit card at arriving. He did not apologize for the mistake. - The hall was not very clean - There was no newspaper in the morning, although this was announced in the services - The lamp on the business desk was insufficient light to work

Walking distance to outlet shops and restaurants on Ste-Catherine St. Staff were eager to help, and generally good-natured. Beds were comfortable, lots of towels and consumable amenities. There's a Cora's built right in to the place, which serves breakfast till 2pm.

Parking added $20 per night, so take that into account when pricing out places to stay. The "parking lot" is adjacent to the hotel, and while the hotel is in an almost entirely built up area, the lot itself is hundred year old asphalt and gravel, and looks like the rear facing courtyard, for lack of a better word, to a dangerous ghetto. That said, my car wasn't broken into, and the dude taking care of the place will bounce you out of there in a hurry if you don't have your parking pass, so it's pretty well monitored.

Location was terrific and the staff were very helpful. Room was small but nice. It was a really good choice.
