loved having my own door to the outside
there was no fan in the bathroom and on water pressue for toliet flushing
Great breakfast. Staff courteous and helpful.
Outstanding staff at front desk and restaurant.
Lake front view. Friendly staff Nice comfortable rooms.
Service was great. Great swimming pools for the kids.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Parking by room Restaurant Pool Free wi-fi coffee machine
The food was very unsatisfactory. We each had a different chicken dinner item and the chicken was just cut into slices and added to each plate afterwards and was very dry. The bar drinks was so bad my wife had a bottled beverage and I had water since the mixed drinks that was ordered was very much off the mark.
Staff were good, pool was lovely. Room was clean!
The vegetables at our dinner were way over cooked! We left our room because we had a leak in our bathroom ceiling & I thought we should be compensated with a free night!
Clean Good value for the money
Restaurant CLOSED. (Canada Day). It was because there was a restaurant on site we booked this Best Western
Outside swimming pool, dinning, helpful front desk, Wi-fi and other amenities.
The air conditioner worked, but was way too noisy.
Loved the food especially the breakfast buffet.
Towels not big enough
very efficient, wife liked indoor pool
not near downtown
clean rooms, easy access, helpful staff
Room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast served in the morning was good as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
very friendly & professional staff
Friendly staff, and excellent breakfast options. :)
The wireless was a bit slow at times.
The room and annex smelled very musty, very annoying, the toilet was not working properly, cold room,
Ground floor outdoor access to my car. I was able to park close to my unit and take my personal and work items directly to my room, rather than through a lobby. Very convenient. Restaurant and pool facilities were great as well.
Complementary hot breakfast.
The toast was made from very poor quality bread.
It was clean and quiet, being away from the street.
A technician sent to check out the door lock actually walked in without knocking.... And although I connected to the hôtel wi-fi, I was never given the opportunity of entering a password and so was unable to use the Internet. As this was a business trip, it was very inconvenient....
The complimentary hot breakfast was great and we were allowed to redeem the vouchers past the 930 deadline which really the deadline should be later anyway.
I thought it was too expensive for the type of room and location and the price I ended up paying was ten dollars more than when I booked it
the room was good. liked the free breakfast. the pool
we found the pool A bit on the chilly side.
our room was at the back of the property and was a beautiful spot. It was quiet and away from street noise. No elevator noise through the night.
At arrival, the front desk individual was very friendly and accommodating. Also the waitresses in the restuarant made sure anything we ordered was to our specific taste. You don't get that kind of service much anymore and to me, you could have the best looking hotel but crappy service and I would never stay there again. I would stay here again because of the people.
The only thing that was a disadvantage was the walk from our room to the main building. It was raining and we had to walk about 50 yards to get inside in order to go to the restuarant.
Pool all to myself
No gym Secondly I unfortunately was waiting at front desk to check in and the customers in front were talking to a check in clerk about another person perhaps a friend or someone staying there I got the impression they knew the clerk because they were talking about rental property and a motorbike or something. The customer said "he's gay" and the clerk said "there were fifty people there -what is that supposed to mean?" Now I obviously do not know the context of this conversation but it made me uncomfortable because I am a member of the LGBTQ community and it left me wondering if I was overhearing some homophobia or discrimination going on. I was going to intervene but decided against it. It just did not feel like a particularly professional moment to me. I am a GLBTQ activist and always look for opportunities to educate. I am therefore wondering if Best western has anti-homophobia training for their management or posts expectations of their hotel affiliates (yes I know they are independently owned and operated) I am simply being honest because we recently signed on as best rewards customers and deliberately stayed at best westerns several times during this vacation. Thanks for your understanding sincerely Mikey Ross
