Best Western Airdrie  

Very clean, super comfy pillows, great hot breaky, nice hotel!

The room was clean and well maintained. I suspect it had been renovated given the hallways and outside were not new looking like the room itself. Great! Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good. T.V. modern and wi fi worked without a problem.

Hard to find information re T.V. channels etc. Trial and error. Apparently the only food was in the lounge and while there were fast food restaurants close, it would have been nice to have a few healthy choices on the menu even if it was the lounge.

Continental breakfast was A+++. The room was gorgeous, bed was comfortable, tv was nice! Wasn't what I was expecting at all! Best bang for your buck definitely

Room was too hot. A fan was provided but we had to open the window full. However we received compensation for the inconvenience.

Hotel busy with kids hockey tournament bookings. We had booked a queen room. They upgraded us to a king free!

Trouble getting heat up in room.

The beds were comfortable and the buffet breakfast was good.

The room was too hot and had to use the air conditioner. There should be a designated smoking place for hotel guests who smoke other than the front door. We were out Friday night and when we returned, we had to walk through a group of 10-12 people gathered at the front door and walk through the smoke.

Tv in my room didn't function properly. Remote did not work and volume controls on the tv did not work either. Could not watch tv without disrupting adjoining rooms

The staff was very good. Thre Breakfast great. Easy access to and from the highway. Conveniently located for getting to places in Airdrie. The beds were comfortable..

The room was crowded with only about 6-8" to get to bathroom around queen size bed. The tv did not work at all. The clerk said it hadn't worked for some time, but left the impression that her upcoming smoke break was more important than helping. The lock was very finicky and reluctant to open. No glasses were supplied for the second day. There was work being done to the building exterior, and the work equipment was parked in front of the room door. This made it difficult for me and my 84 year old mother to drag our suitcases and parcels around the stuff to our room. At our first breakfast one staff member became very peeved when I couldn't read the greased over instructions on the waffle machine and used it incorrectly. That afternoon an obnoxious boy was riding on a bicycle in and out of the small parkade yelling and at great speed, dangerous for my vehicle and for him. He also spun around us as we struggled to get our belongings to the room. (We don't know if he was a guest or local child.)

Its rates were not as inflated as other hotels in the Calgary region due to the Stampede.

Food was very good (pity about paper plates and plastic cutlery but then its the food that really matters). Staff know neighbourhood and the best places to eat. Clean Everything I wanted without being "over the top" and ostentatious

The hotel was just under major renovation , but no information provided when we book or check in the hotel. The air conditioner was very noisy and facing closely to the bed.. So, difficult to sleep .

There was a great restaurant around the corner which was extremely popular with the locals and great value for money.

We didn't appreciate the paper plates and plastic cutlery at breakfast, and the fact that it was on a self-clear basis!

The building is undergoing exterior renovation. At the moment the appearance is terrible.
