Our receptionist was absolutely wonderful and made our stay comfortable. She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Very friendly, very competent. All the staff was very friendly. When we checked out, we told the front desk that when the heater came on, it was very noisy and that when we flushed the toilet, the bathtub gurgled. They said that neither was normal and that they would look after it. I'm sure they did.

This location was a very clean facility, throughout. It's location was quite good for our trip. This is our 2nd trip to Welland. This hotel was better than the last. We just started coming to visit Welland. Last time for Illuminaqua. Will be back in May to see another one. Probably stay at this hotel again. Hotel key cards didn't work numerous times and ended up going to front desk (again!) for a new key. Lady couldn't re-use same key and gave me a new one. She put the bad one back in the drawer with the other good keys!!! People!!! Hello? Another customer will have the same problem. Check out was a bit long and confusing for the lady at the desk. But she was helpful, kind, etc.

The breakfast in the morning was great variety. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Hospitatlity area was provided so we dindnt have to crowd the hotel hallways. No pool

For the inroom facilities and inclusive buffet breakfast the stay represented very fair value for money. Not the easiest place to find but when ultimately found (no satnav) it proved a satisfactory location.

The closet door was off the hinges and the track was rusty. I would have preferred to be at the back, but there was really very little noise from the road.

It's location. The bed is comfortable. I like have the option of a kitchenette. In my room 322 one of the tiles in the bathroom (by the tub) was loose and moved when I stood on it going into and out of the bathtub. I wasn't sure if I should do my dishes, perhaps a sign asking guests to "clean up their dishes " before leaving if that is the policy.

Facility to prepare light meals was essential to us because of dietary and medical reasons. Would have loved either an indoor or outdoor pool as the heat was immense!
