Location was really good - very close to Stanley Park Was a bit loud - could hear noise from the streets (garbage trucks) and from the hallway and adjoining rooms. The rooms could be better sound proofed - especially the windows

We did not like the barking dog from 9:30 to 11:00pm. We had asked for a quiet room at the desk and we were located close to an electric motor that ran continuously and the dog that was left alone and barked every time there was noise in the hall! You provide an excellent coffee maker , but cheap paper cups. They don't go together! We appreciated the 'buy-one-get-one- free coupons', but they are a poor replacement for the free continental breakfasts we used to get! That program should be renewed then we shall return. Liked being close to beach and Elliott Bay Street noise on beach side can be a bit much. Would help to have a fan for 'white noise'.

Well at first our room wasent ready when we first arrived and either way we dint like the look of our first room green carpet etc 4th floor.. It just looked ghetto picture wise they fulled us because the hotel dint look nothing like what we saw on the sites... Then they transfered us on the fifth floor to make it up to us since the first room wasent ready but it got worst the second room the closets were broken bed wasent done so we had to go back down and we were exausted and mad and the man that was serving us got nervous and dint know what to tell us so he asked us if we could go to lunch and he would watch our luggages on the side of the counter with a sticker on them and he guaranteed us on our way back from lunch he would have a room ready for us,, so we went out came back and he gave us the key to our room which was still on the fifth floor since the hotel has fifth floors only and this time we had the best room of the hotel with a balcony sofa n all.. Loll they had know choice but to give us the best room at this point it looked really bad on them until we had the best room:p The fact that their not organized

The staff were unbelievably fantastic!!!! Peter and Jessica at the front desk along with all the others who's names I cann't remember we friendly, informative and a real pleasure to deal with. Cann't say enough about the staff! The cleaning/house keepers were friendly and very accommodating. The staff makes your hotel!!!!!!!!!!! I have no complaints. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained. The location is why I first chose the hotel, but the staff made it even better!

Close to the event we were attending. I didn't like having to pay for parking as a registered guest. The entertainment on New Years Eve shut down at 1am which is pretty early for New Year's when they advertise open till 3am. My room was prepaid online long in advance but yet we still got a room over looking the parking lot. Would have preferred a room overlooking the street.

The hotel is perfectly located next to the beach and a short walk from the park. The rooms are very clean, the beds comfortable, and security is quick in responding to noise complaints. The basic gym set up has all the requisite weight machines yet does not reserve floor space for a yoga/strech mat.

Location, location, location. Very clean. Very friendly pleasant helpful staff. No real dislikes, just a few repairs, or redoes, wallpaper aging bathroom tubs need replacing, need ceiling fans in bathrooms, there was a vent but not an actual fan. Light switch for bathroom too far away.

I had to have a dog friendly hotel. This hotel is perfect for that. It is close to English Bay and Stanley Park is on your doorstep. On top of that it is in what I consider to be the most vibrant area of Downtown - Davie/Denman Streets. It is about a 20 minute walk from Robson St where all the main shopping is, but this was the perfect spot for me with a dog. The cleaning staff were excellent and allowed me the peace I required. The desk staff were very accommodating of certain requests. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone requiring a good, clean hotel room with fast internet access that is dog friendly. The only thing I could think of that perhaps could be improved is that the carpets were a little tired and stale. Also the room isn't particularly large.

Even if the web site stated shuttle service, there was none available at this time of year. The 10 minutes drive to airport was actually 20 min and cost 35.00 cab each time.
