The location and the view.
Booking.com gave us a price of $189/night without tax. When we got there Best Western gave us $209/night without taxes. We stayed for 2 nights. We ended up having to pay $482 for the 2 nights stay. Be nice if you are up front with us.
The view of the beach is fantastic. A place to definitely unwind from the every day.
The WiFi availability was very poor mostly in the evenings.
The room was well appointed and comfortable. We had a gorgeous view of the beach and there was literally nothing I would change in the room.
It is Tofino, so you are paying for the location. We were a bit far from the town, so chose to dine at the hotel. The food in the restaurant was good, but when we showed up for lunch, we were told that it wasn't open yet, despite the fact that the time was almost 40 minutes after the posted opening time. There was a large tour group from Switzerland staying at the hotel the same time as us, so service was slow (the staff told us that was the reason). We ate at the restaurant 3 times and while the food was good, service was just adequate.
Location best beach in Tofino
Hot tubs not maintained. Both very Foamy which means chemicals are not balanced.
The location was excellent. The room was good for the price paid. The restaurant service was great ("thank you" Joe).
The bathroom door needs a drop of graphite to stop the squeaking. The food acceptable (vegetables were underdone, even for "aldante")
Great location, lovely beach, great food in Bistro, staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
The room was good, nice view of the beach from the balcony.
We ate in the on-site restaurant - seemed to be lots of staff around but the service was very slow and the food was average.
wifi under the par
The view was good
The price was was too high for the quality of the room. The picture of the room on line was deceiving. I thought there was a partition between the bedroom and the hide- a-bed. No privacy between our group. very disappointed. Bathroom and refridgerator were small also. For the price we paid not worth it.
Location, location, location
We stayed at Tin Wis in 1997 and again with the family in 1998. My understanding is the resort had not been open that long. We loved our stays at Tin Wis then. Back in 2014 we find the fabric of the hotel needs some renovation, very tatty in places and the feeling of a once rather luxurious hotel sadly fading - anything to do with it being a Best Western now I wonder?
Location, lovely facilities
The beautiful patio was not licensed, and nice fire was turned off at 10 PM! Consequently few people used it. The food could be improved a bit. My breakfast skillet was way too salty and gooey but the porridge was excellent. Dinner was not cheap and a little disappointing.
Restaurant very very slow. Waiter with attitude. Disappointing!
An ideal location. The staff is well trained, the room perfectly clean. Even the weather cooperated. We did not even notice the power failure as the generators kept the power on.
It is a bit pricey. We mostly come in the off season but this time decided to come at the high season. I thought the wifi was weak due to the power outage.
The location close to town was excellent. Great view of the ocean.
Our stay was too short.
That i had a place to sleep
Three nights were defiently not worth 942 dollars

Maintenance Worn out room
The bed floor was dirty when I arrived,
The view, the rooms, the location, the staff, all excellent.
The food in the restaurant was very slow in materializing.
The location is great. I love the lawn at the back of the hotel and you could go up to the beach. There's a jacuzzi in the bedroom of the executive suite (not the bathroom) facing the lawn.
Wifi is free but signal was pretty weak.
it was quiet, breakfast was very good
sheets were old, beds need upgrade for the kind of money the room cost.
Claims to be "pet friendly" however, upon arrival you are presented with a $25/night pet fee, and are not allowed to leave the pet in your room if you leave. Enjoy having your pet bake in your car while you eat. Good luck using any hotel facilities, such as the hot tub, if you have a pet. Not clean either. First room had dried urine on the top of the toilet seat. Comfort Inn level rooms at Marriott pricing. It's on an Indian reserve, and they own the hotel. They charge a 15% "tax" on top of their outrageous rates. AVOID.
The outlook & location right on one of the nicest beaches in Tofino. All rooms face the ocean.
The restaurant food was average
right on the beach
The beach view was beautiful. Jacuzzi that overlooked the beach was nice. Breakfast was tasty too!
There were ants in our room and there were lots of building works that started early in the morning.
restaurant is a bit expensive
