Staff was very friendly, helpful and qualified. Cosy atmosphere. Dining room for breakfast could be redesigned to a more cheerful including furniture. Breakfast is to include vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers. |

The decor of the room was particularly pleasing, and the comfort of the bed and both chairs in the room was also very good. The room I was in faced the main road, and as such suffered from traffic noise. This was not helped by the design of the heating unit, which vented directly through the wall and allowed noise from outside. I considered the window glazing thin by European standards, and reducing traffic noise should be a priority. |

The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very nice. I liked the updated bathroom. The locked parking garage was a nice plus. The continental breakfast was better than what most hotels provide. The parking was limited but we were able to park in their parking garage both nights we were there. |

The convenient location / The competitive price / The buffet breakfast and car parking included in the price You should offer the option for guests to put towels in the bath if they need to have them washed rather than automatically washing them |

Very convenient to the purpose of my stay in Vancouver. Very hospitable and courteous staff, clean facilities, and reasonable rate. It was a good decision to choose Best Western Uptown Hotel after trying to scout several hotels in the area. Efficient booking process. |

Very good service, very friendly staff. Breakfast room small, but selection was good. Public transit connections (line 19 into town or 9 /99 to the canada line) excellent. Rooms good and quiet, very clean. Price absolutely perfect. |

We booked this hotel because, according to your webpage, the facilities included free parking; however, when we returned to the hotel around 10 p.m. the (very small) garage turned ou to be full, and we were told to find a parking place in the neighbourhood. It took us at least 45 min. to find a place to park the car, but worse, it did absolutely not feel safe to leave the car unattended in the area! |

The favourable rate, the location with good bus connections and within walking distance from the city centre, breakfast and garage included. The double beds were a bit too narrow for our liking. We would have liked to have a fridge in the room. |

the continental breakfast was good the parking is awful. the spots are extremely limited and what is there was tight! nothing but compact cars. they'll tell you to park in there but if it's full you have to back up in some tight space and then find room on the street where you won't get towed. the room was supposed to be non-smoking but either they switched it around or it was old smoke, either way it smelled. the pillows were half size and not very comfortable-woke up with a very stiff neck. |

quiet, clean and comfortable room on the backside -one should ask for that. Breakfest with self-service quick and easy to go; alternative upgrade for a hot breakfast in seperate room (fee about 6 canadian dollars).Inhouse free carpark. Room for included breakfast might be too small. Carpark availability might be organised in advance with booking since parking facilities outside of the hotel are very limited. |

Friendly staff, free local calls (easy for bookings cabs and restaurants), supermarket next door, free underground (closed) parking, computer available in the lobby with free acces to internet. Breakfast room is a bit small, so you have to wait a few minutes. |

The staff were most helpful and friendly. The room where breakfast is taken is too small for the number of people using it at certain times. |
