The price and location of this hotel were very good. Free parking was a bonus. It was in walking distance to restaurants and outdoor shops.e.g.,mec. The room we booked on line did not have a fridge, so we were given a free upgrade.

Strongly recommended this hotel to anyone looking for good value of their money. Location is a plus factor... conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, shopping mall, tourist attractions and even to the city (especially if you are a keen walker). Complimentary breakfast has variety of pastries & beverages to choice from. Room & environment generally clean. Found all staff from front desk to cleaners all courteous and helpful. Very satisfied and happy with our recent stay in this hotel. One incident of clogged up toilet at night time during our stay which was settled only the following morning due to in availability of staff... personally not a major issue but for others can be, so calling managements intervention to this matter for their future guests please.

What I liked the best was the room was clean, with decent pillows. Also, the price was comparable to the accomodations. What I didn't like so much was how confusing it is to get to the room. I found it hard to remember where the exit was and which way to go to the room when getting off the elevator.

This hotel has more than location, although that's great too. The bus conections to downtown Vancouver are excellent. For about the cost of downtown parking, two people can get day passes at the Shoppers Drug Mart next door and avoid fighting off the aggressive drivers who have no tolerance of confused out of towners. Bus drivers and passengers are really helpful to tourists. We found the king bed to be extemely comfortable and the room fairly spacious. The second floor patio is a nice quiet retreat. The underground parking is a bonus and is included in the room price, not a big add on. The hotel staff's advice to go to Martinis about five blocks away for good food and drink at half the cost of downtown was well taken. Breakfast service at the hotel and at the adjacent restaurant were adequate for staring the day. although as late sleepers we are always more interested in lunch and nearby Broadway has lots to choose from for that. The underground parking area is very difficult to mauever in if you have anything more than a small car. The colour of the walls and their angles creates an optical illusion in some places that makes it hard to know if you are going to hit the wall when backing out. Maybe each angle of the walls should have a different colour. Since we used the bus except on one occasion, this was not as much of a problem for us as it could be for daily drivers. We were underwhelmed by the service at the adjacent restaurant.

This is a great hotel the staff are fantastic and nothing is to much trouble. Its a little outside the centre but is right on a bus route. There is a supermarket and small shopping centre right across the street, and local bars and Restaurants within walking distance. All in all a little gem and would recommend it highly

The room was very small and I had chosen this hotel as it was listed as a hotel close to the airport but it really wasn't very close to the airport at all and was a $35 cab ride.

Rate, location, free secure underground parking, free wifi. The staff handled breakfast food with bare hands. The quality of breakfast food is poor.

The rooms are clean. There's free underground parking. The main problem with this place is its location. It's far from downtown, the sky train, Stanley park, or anywhere else tourists would want to go. Without using a car, we had a lot of trouble getting around. The breakfast room is also too small and some people couldn't get seats. That wouldn't matter except that there was also a lot of taxes (added about 20% to the total cost), so this place isn't such a great deal at the end.

The location and price were very good. The staff was very helpful. The parking is a quite tight and difficult to navigate. I would have liked to see a hard boiled egg and tomato juice with the breakfast.

I love the 4th floor's high ceiling: looks great and full of fresh air in the room. The room cen not be any cleaner! It was spotless! The breakfast was nicer than I thought:lots of fresh pastries, my favorite! The juice, coffee, hot water was avaliable most time of the day, not just at breakfast hours. The front desk agent was nice to apply a Best Western membership card for me while checked in, so I was able to receive some points after the stay. Perfect location to stay after my dad had an eye surgery at a nearby hospital and need to re-check at the eye care center not far away on the next early morning. The only Downside is: Double beds are too small and next door's noise were easy to hear and bothered me a bit at nightime......

Excellent front end staff and very helpfull The salt and pepper restaurant was totally horrible. waited for over an hour for the food which was very bad. If you cant get more staff when there is a major function in town then just close the place down. It gives you a bad name which you dont deserve. i will recomend to others but will tell them to stay away from the restaurant

Price/location were equally excellent. Proximity to bc Place is walking distance of under 30 mins. Very close to good restaurants and waterway. Lots of good channels on tv. Seemed quiet even though our window was facing Kingsway. Bed was very good with plenty of nice pillows!

We had two rooms, one with 2 double beds and we were very pleased with it. Based on that room and the very friendly and helpful staff I would not hesitate to stay there again. Short bus to Sky-train or downtown. My friends stayed in a single with a queen bed and the room smelled heavily of mildew. So kind of a mixed review. I will stay there again before making a final decision on weather or not to make it my Go-To place to stay in this price range. One more note, kitchen could use a few more tables for the continental breakie. One more star for the staff tho, thanks folks.
