Lovely, staff were helpful and you step outside and you are literally IN the village, with bars, liquoratore and iga at your door. Best location ever.
Thought to beds/towels could've been changed a lil more frequently.
Low ceiling in the garage hardly fit my truck and couldn't make any turns without backing up at least once.
Room was warm although lighting poor.kitchen adequately set up and having a dishwasher a real plus. A table to eat at would have been nice instead of just a coffee table.Lovely fresh towels daily.good storage for clothing.
Housekeeping badly let them down..daily bedmaking did not happen nor did cleaning of bathroom.facility avaiable for skies and boards but a challenge getting rest of ski gear dry in room.
Location. Staff very helpful
Our room ... Located above a busy locale so impossible to sleep as the din carried on till well after 2 AM.
Our room was surrounded by room parties. The Location was great but not ideal for a family. Very thin walls so we heard everything from loud music and partying from the room across the hall to the very loud snoring of the guest staying in the room next door. Lots of drunk people stumbling around too!
We stayed for 3 nights of our honeymoon.. Couldn't be happier with the blackcomb lodge and the location is excellent.
The hotel was in an excellent location, next to village square and most amenities. Hot tub / spa facilities were a good standard and hotel staff were generally helpful.
Whilst room was clean to a basic level, the housekeeping left something to be desired with beds sometimes not being made properly / room not being tidied and no idea when room was going to be serviced. Hotel ski room didn't have any boot dryers which is a bit of a disappointment in a ski resort.
Noisy rooms after 10
Brilliant location and nice staff
The CDN$ 20 surcharge that was listed as a booking fee!
We enjoyed the location. The sauna and pools were wonderful.
The bed was so old, made of two twins that weren't the same height! so there was a hard edge down the middle. Noisy rooms so we wondered about insulation. The "old" smell in the hallways - it's getting old and needs a reno now.
Didn't get clean towels Window couldn't close Sink didn't work Broken heater
Close to ski lifts, about a 5-minutes walk through the village. Close to shops and restaurants. Rental shop for skis and equipment right next to front desk, rented skis were provided for you every morning, which turned out to be quite convenient.
Sofa bed linens were dirty, full of stains and hair from the former vacationists. After complaints, it took half an hour till somebody finally replaced everything. But no apologies! Bed lamp bulb didn`t work, was finally replaced after two requests. Light above kitchen sink didn`t work, was not repaired, although requested. Vaccuum cleaning only on request!
Location is very good, and the rooms are spacious.
The rooms are very badly insulated, and the heating system is from the past century or more. WiFi worked awfully bad all 8 days we stayed. They didn't bother to fix it even with all clients complaining about it. And what was wrong with it was a bad setup of IP addresses, pretty easy to fix. They don't have a room cleaning service, or bed making, although we paid crazy money to go to the hotel. Very bad value for what was paid.
Great location... Equipment rental staff were great Kitchenette and lounge were great
We requested a king bed which turned out to be two singles pushed together. Very, very uncomfortable. We also had to request clean sheets as they weren't changed despite us having a five night stay.
Location was perfect. Right in heart of Whistler village. Size of room was adequate for my family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teenagers, 1 pre teen).
Facilities are dated and could use a refurbishment. There wasn't a daily cleaning service. We stayed for 1 week and only received a mid-week service. Our room also lacked drawer/closet space.
location parking ski storage
poor room housekeeping poor wifi reception street noise at 2am
Great location in Whistler Village, the staff was very attentive, and the cost for peak time was good.
Soooo much noise from outside and the bed was very uncomfortable.
Incredibly noisy at night - from street Room not cleaned as promised Room not restocked as promised Staff didn't seem to care
Housekeeping was not maintained adequately.
close to the lift
couldn't sleep because the noise outside.
Checked in really late but desk staff was great. Hotel was nice and clean and the location is really close to the main Whistler lifts. Rental shop right in lobby. Room layout for father and son was two twins. Perfect.
The beds were the cheapest thing I've slept on ever. My college dorm room was better. Extremely firm and bouncy. Weird combination but awful.
Most comfortable bed in Whistler, and great value for 3 adults. Right in the heart of the Village, and a 5 minute walk to the gondolas. Full kitchen too, including range and oven.
We had an excellent stay with the Blackcomb lodge. The location is perfect, rooms were clean comfortable and had the warm homey feel. The staff were great, always a friendly smile and a big shout out to Phil for making the stay just that bit better. Highly reccomended!!
great rate . For the location and facilities
there was no gym
