The location and the staff were great. Onsite restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner.
near all the shops and cafes..
I loved the view of the Ocean both day and night.
The rooms are large and all have a good view. The location is great - close to lots of restaurants, shopping, public transit and the art gallery.
Fair price for a good hotel with an excellent location.
There really want anything not to like ...except maybe the UGLY pictures in the lifts.
Location, beds were comfortable.
Street noise, but I knew that when I booked!
- location - view - large room - great staff
- bathtub and shower are sub standard
I was very pleased with everything at The Blue Horizon Hotel. I stayed here with my Boyfriend for New Years Eve.. The staff were very friendly, nice and clean, great location for shopping and restaurants/pubs, views were beautiful and the price was reasonable. I would stay again defiantly!
Would have liked a bigger bed for me and my boyfriend that's the only downside.
Satisfied with all - except pool
Pool is in serious need of an uddate
The staff in the dining area and bar were great. We liked the daily bar specials and snacks during happy hour. The beds and pillows made for a relaxing sleep.
Staff was very friendly, clean hotel and awesome location!
This was my third time staying in Blue Horizon hotel. As always I got the best experience. This hotel gives me everything I need when I visit Vancouver. It has the best downtown location, very friendly stuff, a lot of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops are located nearby. Also a nice feautyre is that it is easy to spot building. It is tall and has red lighting on the top. There are pretty good amenities. The small gym, pool, sauna an even jacussi are availbale. The place is definitely worth your attention and the money you pay
Great location, good value
Wi-Fi requires you to constantly reenter access code.
I asked to show me room options for the upgrade or future visits and a very nice front desk girl showed me 2 rooms, I enjoyed conversation with her and the friendliness of the staff in general.
At first it was a little bit cold in the room for the 1st night, but I asked staff to adjust the temperature and from that it became comfortably warm.
We had a corner room with a balcony with a view up and down Robson. The pool, sauna and hot tub are a bit dated, but were a great place to unwind. Coffee maker and mini-fridge!
Facing onto Robson is a bit loud with the patio open (noise was unnoticeable when door closed).
- Location - Cost - Staff was friendly - In house restaurant was great
- Sounds strange but the ridiculously loud toilet. Not sure if it was a water pressure problem but everytime someone would flush their toilet in another room/floor the toilet would make a loud howl. Just shut the door and its fine....but strange. - Doors were thin and I had loud neighbours...not entirely the hotel's fault - The front desk kept calling me instead of the room 5 floors below around 3am to tell me a pizza I didn't order had arrived
Close to the markets and shops and also from England bay
I spent two nights in this hotel. They provided me with a room in lower levels however I asked them to upgrade it to upper levels and they did it for a few dollars more per night. I found the hotel very excellent in location, fairly clean but not really quite. Even over the night that you are sleeping, there are some noises from outside the room. Some hotel staffs walk around and sometimes they disturb you by knocking the door (while the No Disturb sign is hanged on the door) to ask you if you need anything!!! Normally if we need something we call the front desk and in that case they should send somebody over for assistance. In total I would give 7 out of 10 to this hotel.
Everything was great!
Could use some sort of weights in gym area/bowflex/cable machine?
Location was perfect for staying in the city! The view was amazing from the floor we were on right at the top. Room was spacious and clean with plenty of mirrors and a good chair and desk to work on. Wifi connection was really good in the room. Hotel had a great feel to it.
We were told to provide a $200 deposit upon arrival. Maid service were told to come and check the room before we checked-out in order to receive our deposit back. I thought this was a bit unusual as it was not something that I had experienced before in other hotels. It was not a big problem- just unusual.
Our room was corner room and it had 180C Vancouver view. The room is very spacious enough to open 4-5 large suitcase. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurant and only 10 mins cab ride to Granville island. We had a car and it was very easy to find and easy to park.
Nothing in particular. The parking is charged.
Excellent location and views. Very clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Will definitely return.
I like the room itself, corner windows, bed, bedding, TV, reception, location and price.
The soundproofing isn't the best but our neighbours were not a problem.
I appreciated every aspect of this hotel--friendly staff, spacious (quiet) room, excellent location. The hotel is clean, modern, attractive, and the price was reasonable.
