Bluenose Lodge and Victorian B&B Inn  

The beds n pillows were the most comfortable out of all the places we stayed. Andrea, the owner, was very accomodating.

It had a perfect location. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful with directions and information. Our room was very comfy and clean with lots of space.

Everything was quite lovely- may be considered a bit dated but that is to be expected in a Victorian Inn.

Our hostess Andrea was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We loved the beautiful building and the decor was very nice. The breakfast selection was extensive and with the amount of food prepared I was expecting a small army to join us! We would highly recommend the Bluenose Lodge to any visitors travelling to Lunenburgh.

It was beautifully decorated. Andrea, the inn keeper was very helpful with sharing information.

There were no afternoon snacks or tea or coffee.

Awesome shower (best shower head ever and very good water pressure), comfy beds, very clean, excellent breakfast in lovely breakfast room, inviting common rooms and very warm and welcoming reception by owner.

Andrea was a gracious & helpful hostess. The house was beautifully decorated and maintained. Located in a quiet part of town. The breakfasts were great. Thank You. Would for sure return.

We had a ceiling leak in our room. They moved us downstairs to a larger room which was a good size. There was no hot water for a shower in the morning. The breakfast was just ok. It was quiche, toast, muffins etc. Other B&B breakfast where much more enjoyable. When we arrived at this B and B we had to call from someone to come and meet us. Business lacked a personal feeling to it.

Bathroom: shower curtain too short, hence water splashed out on to the floor. Would have been nice to have had a towel rack near the basin in the room.

The owner went out of her way to accommodate our needs and assist us with non-related things, such as greeting us in for car service at a local garage! She was very knowledgeable and we would recommend this inn highly!

The location was perfect and breakfast was good.

Owner was more concerned that we were 10 min early than our comfort, dust and dead flies under bed, internet not working in rooms, shower curtain only 3/4 long leaving water all over floor, bed not very comfortable. Most of these problems are easily fixed...got the impression from the owner that this was more of a business than something to care about and to care for residents in a b and b fashion.

Beautiful Historic house, excellent breakfast, short walk to the harbour, historic areas and shopping. Host very forthcoming as to things to do/see in the area.

Twin Room although a good size had an incredibly small bathroom and no desk area for using computer or checking maps.

The photo of the house captivated me. It was as beautiful in real life as online. Moreso. Clean. Lovingly maintained. Peaceful. Our hostess Andrea was warm and competent. Breakfast was great. Someone's gluten-free diet was attended to. I think the place had a refining influence on the guests. Good value for money.

Andrea was friendly, efficient and welcoming. The room was spacious and the beds were supremely comfortable!

I stayed on what might have been the busiest weekend of the year, and found that the hot water was gone by 7:30am! Breakfast (included in the price) started at 8am, so I guess everyone wanted to hose down before eating. Other than the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival weekend, this may not be an issue.
