Very helpful management. Breakfast OK Good location Value for money
Maid service unreliable Toilet not working properly Rooms require more maintenance
Staff, facilities and location
Food and the rate for 3 nights doesn't match when I booked a month ago.
The hotel is okay. It's located very close to the central subway station and you can easily walk to old Montreal in few minutes. If you're traveling by bus, the bus station is one block away from the hotel. The staff was very kind with us. I really liked my staying there.
Nothing special. The hotel is quite simple. The only thing I really didn't like was the stairs. My room was in the last level (3rd), and it seems the stairs are a bit steep. It's uncomfortable to go up and down.
1/air condition without a manual control possibility - so on the 1. floor a horrible cold room 2/ too small room for breakfast 3/ every day was quite different reception clerk and some of them were unwilling
kind people, near metro.
Hospitality, very kind people.
Facilities were old and rusted. Toilet didn't work well, also the sink broke at one point.
Noise. The AC did not work. Had to use the window instead of the AC and then could not close it. No elevator.
In the Latin Quarter right across from Metro hub..what could be better?
Four flights of stairs to my room was definitely NOT a joy, especially when the room itself was less than comfortable. :(
The location was good.
You couldn't open the washroom door past the sink, a few of the stairs were broken, and the air conditioning in our room did not work.
Amazing location and price. Friendly staff.
It was a perfect room just to enjoy your sleep. Small and very cost effective if you only wanted to sleep and get a rinser. We were there for Osheaga festival and it was one subway stop away. Very close to the lots of patios and restaurants.
Location is the big asset. Excellent Wifi, good breakfast
No lift for those with more dificulty to climb 3 floors
Small room. Shower was not good.
The old-fashioned style bed. The location to the mass transportation.
Nothing really to dislike for the value.
It's two blocks from Gay Village It's two blocks from the Metro station It was one of the cheaper options in the area The staff was friendly They serve breakfast
The WiFi was off and on in quality, usually off The bathroom was tiny I found a few long hairs in my bed and in my towel in the bathroom My smelled a little like smoke and it gave me a sore throat You cannot control the air conditioning in the room which meant it was usually cold The blanket was thin so staying warm was hard The walls are thin so you can hear other peoples bedroom activities
it is very bad spcially wi fi was very bad i do not recommend any person to stay there
every thing was realy bad
The location was very close to the main metro station which made it very easy to get anywhere in town. For the most part staff were friendly and tried very hard. For the most part quite clean. Fine value, as long as you don't want to stay in the room much.
Lots of very steep stairs guests should know about before booking here. Building quite old which is okay, but the cracks in the walls and ceiling were a bit unsettling. While close to metro, not really a nice part of town at night. Bed, TV etc. in room all very old.
The location was very good and staff couldn't be nicer
The location was very good but sadly the hotel was more like a hostel The beds were creaky but clean the room was small and the bathroom was very dark and the shower went hot and cold Breakfast was ok but sitting in the hallway having to eat it not good. Only two tables and a few seats useless glad it was only the one night Stayed in far better hotels for the same price Hotel staff were very pleasant
good location. frendly staff.
Price was very reasonable. Very close to Metro station, but a not very nice part of town.
You get what you pay for. Very steep stairs and no elevator. Very small room, strange smell and small room, squeekie bed.
Didn't have an elevator
Great value for the price and good location (near downtown)
not the nicest area of Montreal (drugs etc.)
Staff was very friendly and helpful, It was good to have complimentary coffee and tea, Internet had good speed.
The bathroom was very small, and it was difficult to regulate the water temperature.
The location was good for walking to Old Montreal.
The area itself was a bit edgy.
Bed and pillows are just as comfy as those in upscale hotels. Everything is clean and fresh.
Shower stand is tight and small. It is however clean and the curtain is new.
