The location and the charm of the hotel was great. The owners and staff took time to learn a little about us and why we were there. Dinner at Chasters was a real surprise, exceptional quality and value. If we ever find ourselves in Gibsons again we will stay at the Bonniebrook.

Beautiful view of the ocean, supmtuous beds and linens, spotless soaker tub, lush green grounds that are nicely gardened, delicious food and accomodating staff. Wouldn't recommend taking children unless they are older and you are booking the appropriate suite. They made an exception for us as there was space so that was nice of them indeed. they were also really accomodating with bringing a couple of dinners to the suite which was really appreciated. It was quite pricey though - 1600 for 4 nights with two dinners. Be aware that the restaurant including breakfast is closed mon and tues (although they were willing to try to accomodate a breakfast basket on the monday and tuesday).

The room was cleam and tidy. the Q bed was confortable. There was a fireplace (did not use as the summer nights were warm) big screen TV (used as the Summer Olympics were on) and screens on all windows. The restaurant was also excellent, having a full menu with local seafood. The restaurant staff were great. Nothing!

The location was private, scenic and very relaxing. Not only was the room very comfortable and romantic, the dining room located in the B&B was first class and an unexpected surprise. A memorable get away 1 It would be nice to have a kettle for tea, and a small table to put our food on etc. so that we didn't need to use the vanity area.
