This Tuscan lodge sits on the shore of Els Lake and offers views of Okanagan Valley. A day spa featuring a variety of massages and body treatments is located on-site. Rooms at the Borgata Lodge are equipped with free Wi-Fi and a gas fireplace. Cable TV, a microwave and a refrigerator are included. A washing machine and dryer are located in-room. The lodge offers golf packages to several courses within Kelowna and Okanagan Valley. Ousia Day Spa is open throughout the year. A Pizza Outlet is located within Borgata Lodge. Sarazen’s Restaurant, serving popular and gourmet dishes, is open seasonally and a 3-minute walk from the lodge. We loved the personal service. Guy phone us ahead of time to check all details, provide us with information about the lodge and then emailed us a confimration which had pictures of our exact room we'd be staying in. Then he checked in with us when we were on our way. Best service I've received from a hotel/lodge. Beautiful location, close to airport. Price was awesome. And the pizza was amazing! Golf course looked beautiful too. :) That we didn't have longer to stay....and we didn't book a tee time and take advantage of the beautiful course!

Room ok At the time of booking there was no mention that the reception closes in the evening. The sole purpose of the booking was to be as close to Kelowna Airport in the morning. We were dropped off at about 8pm outside by a relative to what appeared to be the main entrance as they were the only lights visible. This happened to be a coffee shop. The young lady working there pointed us in the right direction and as the relative had left we had to carry our baggage. We found the closed reception with a note on the door explaining how to get our keys to the room from the keysafe which had the pin of my last 4 digits of mobile phone number, to our amazement the lock was already set to this and the keysafe open. We then unlocked the main door and located our room., Which was fine. We required a taxi collection to the airport at 5 am so I went to the reception to see how I was able to book a taxi. There were no details of any local taxi firms posted anywhere. I was lucky enough to ask the young lady in the coffee shop which was closing and she gave me a number which she uses. The firm would not accept my booking from an international mobile no so had to call back from the room then was ok. When you are travelling whick includes flights you do not want to be in this posoition and in this instance a lot of luck played a big role in us getting to the the airport which left us uneasy and unable to sleep. The charges of can $129 plus tax I think is well above the worth of our stay considering it quoted on our booking that this was the last room available. I have just returned home to the uk and shall be contacting the hotel for a part refund. From arriving to leaving we did not see another soul other than the coffee shop girl.

Staff upgraded my lodging I had trouble finding where the after hours lock was located. It was finally found behind a pillar. Perhaps a sign would help

I liked the room and it was comfortable as well as having covered parking. It is at least 5 miles to the nearest shop or restaurant It appears rather run down and disinterested in the hotelier business other than catering to golfers

seemed secluded and private with your check in and check out method Beautiful view. The room was just perfect for what we needed. If I'm away for a weekend or holiday I don't want to have to worry about cleaning up after myself. Take the garbage and recycling out to the parking garage? No thanks
