History Friendly staff Lounge area and deck is very nice Buffet breakfast - a little better than continental
No elevator - but the staff would carry your luggage
I liked the location and historical significance of the inn. The breakfast was super.
Everything was good.
Staff showed genuine hospitality And we're friendly and helpful.
location, views, breakfast, comfortable accommodations, very attentive hosts
The staff was wonderful; welcoming and helpful. Made us feel a home.
The room was great....huge in fact. Good light, great views, close to the sights & restaurants. Breakfast in the morning provided variety and was plentiful enough to carry us through early afternoon. While we only interacted with the staff at the front desk, they were very knowledgeable about the area and gave us excellent advice for each day of our stay. Overall a great value for anyone looking for a comfy vacation.
The windows in our bedroom did not open so while we could see the water, we were unable to breathe the fresh sea air. Also, found the old bathtub some what limiting.
Very friendly and knowledgeable innkeepers, great location, beautiful view and accommodations. Lovely breakfast room. Just a perfect place!
Beautiful building with period decorations and furnishings.
Beautiful view, lovely room, like going back in time.
Having to check in by a specific time. We're not used to this feature of B&Bs.
Beautiful Inn. We had a water view room, lovely. Hosts very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Close to lots of restaurants. Try the Savvy Sailor!
Beautiful Building Great staff/
Worse night sleep in two weeks Very Uncomfortable mattress
Hosts were delightful, hot breakfast excellent, room was comfortable, AC was a strange in-room machine but we understand they are working to improve AC-but they had it! Excellent restaurant recommendation for dinner.
Didn't much see attraction of Lunenberg. No criticism of hotel.
beautiful view, helpful staff
Well-informed, compassionate innkeeper. My husband and I were both recovering from seasickness when we arrived, and she had traveled on the same Nova Star Ferry as we did from Portland to Yarmouth and had the same dreadful experience, so she had empathy. She recommended the perfect place to eat later that evening after we'd rested in the lovely turret room I'd chosen. Perfect air, perfect breeze through the window, perfect view, perfect bed, perfect comfort. Peace and tranquility. I hope to travel there again and stay longer in Lunenburg and in that room in that inn.
Proximity to the events of the Folk Harbour Festival. The breakfast and the the room it was served in and the coffee ... and the staff. The view ... the view ... the view.
Three levels of stairs to get back to our room from breakfast meant we could dispense with our morning walk.
Very homey. Facilities included outdoor deck to view Lunemberg Harbor was magnificent. Could sit out there all day and relax. Excellent way to wind down after a full day of sightseeing
For a B & B we felt breakfast was sparse. We generally go to B & Bs and find a hearty breakfast allows us to avoid wasting time searching for mid-day meals and this was not the case would recommend putting overhead expenses into food and not linen tablecloths.
Gorgeous views, wonderful hosts, and tasty breakfast. Great proximity to charming downtown area.
Great views from the terrace. Room was comfy and blackout shades made it very sleep friendly. Breakfast was good, cool area which I didn't see the night before. Interesting and friendly hosts.
Can't think of a negative.
Excellent service and support., Ginny helped me find a safe place for my motorcycle. Rachel was wonderful company. Breakfast was awesome. The view from the deck is outstanding. We had tea and water. Beer and wine was available
Not all the rooms have AC yet. They are working on it however. We had a fan and that was enough. I would ask for a room with it in the future. But hey I took the cheapest room !,, you get what you pay for!,
Our hosts were wonderful and helpful..3 flights of steps which they helped with. Beautiful room, very clean.
The hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was cutely decorated and the beds quite comfortable.
Loved the history and the old stuff....the breakfast was delicious...
the fact that my stay was not longer
Wonderful staff, excellent service and clean inn.
Not kid friendly for an energetic 7 year old boy. The staff were good, offered dessert for free. But I was afraid my son would break something! Lots of antiques.
The owners and staff are wonderfully accommodating and the inn is beautifully situated for walking and enjoying the picture-perfect town. We were so pleased with our stay! Already planning a return visit.
We loved it all!! Breakfast was wonderful, atmosphere great, within walking distance to everything & the owners are great hosts.
