The lady in the office was awesome! We needed extra pillows and it was found and delivered in great time. Very friendly and accommodating exelent service! She knew the area and was able to recommend some great places and services.
The WiFi was very bad, it needs to be stronger and more stable.
good for truckers or....
location, intown close to everything. All amenities within walking distance. With a Max and restaurant across the road and downtown just down the road
lack of clothes storage or even a suitcase table. you literary have to live out of your suitcase. no closet or dresser to unpack. also no soap dish in the shower would like a shelf in the bathroom for toothbrush, soap, etc.
It is close to bracebridge down town. We liked that it had a frig and micro in our room. It is hard to get towels. We had 2 adults and a 5 yr old in our room. I wanted 3 big towels but only got 2 big ones and 2 small ones. If there is a small child in the room you should leave 3 towels.
If the management would just do a bit of outside work eg. weed the area, paint and straighten the white posts in the front it would go a long way to make it a nicer stay.
We liked the facilities, tv, microwave, bar fridge, good beds, etc.
We had a boat on a trailer, and the parking was a little tight in this downtown location.
Location is perfect because you are literally right in town and within walking distance to most everything.
The hotel is terribly outdated. The rooms smell very moldy as if they've never been air out. The room was dark with only one window at the front. The bed covers are from the 70's and the white sheets are now thin and almost yellow (thank God I brought my own pillows). The rug is filthy and probably the worst thing was the fact that the toilet barely flushed. So now you have a tiny bathroom, no window, dampness and a sluggish toilet. Excellent. This "Inn" should be avoided because there are plenty of cute "motels" in the area for less money.
Great location. Comfortable bed. Acceptable cleanliness
Tired decor. Needs some updating
The room was far better than I expected given the budget price. Two Queen beds which were actually very comfortable, given that the mattresses appeared to sag a touch in the middle. Not a sound all night long! Perhaps my next door neighbours were being courteous.
Windows did not open, so I had to run the a/c during the night. Would have preferred to open the windows. Could have used some hooks in the bathroom to hang up clothes while showering. No clothes rack to hang up clothes. But these are minor concerns compared to having a wonderfully restful sleep.
location. Employee did try to fix issues that were brought up.
The smell was horrible, had to switch rooms to a slightly less smelly one. Took a shower, towel ripped almost in half. Son sat on a chair and the pegs holding it together fell out. No deadbolt with large gaps in door frame- very easy to break in. Wifi didn't work at first, had to get employee to reset router. Noticeable staining on bed frame and mold in showers. Several of the support posts holding up the overhang above the walkway in front of the rooms were very noticeably bent from vehicles hitting them. This did not give you a safe feeling as you walked below.
Convenient location and very friendly staff
Bathrooms could use some updating and repair. Also some insulation between walls so you don't hear water pressure through pipes when people showering in adjacent units.
Good location convenient for everybody..
Location fridge/microwave in room beds were fairly comfy
air conditioner very loud phone rang all night one evening with nobody on other end no chainbolt for security heavy vibrating noise under the floor (perhaps a fan?) constant.
Location Service Friendliness Free Parking
Stains on sheets Almost no hot water in shower Looks a little run-down even after renovation (dust, general cleanliness)
Great price, great location in Bracebridge. I'll be coming hear whenever I need a place to stay in Muskoka.
its old but clean and quiet
No hair dryer No screens had to keep windows and doors closed
Good value and beds were comfortable
Rooms could really use a fresh coat of paint
Location was perfect for walking downtown to everything.
Outside cleanliness was terrible some of which was due to early spring and still snow.
Cold in room
Some of the rooms were dirty...walkways not shovelled...Tv was fuzzy.....no instructions to use devices....holes in celing......paint peeling......just a gross place....
My son ended up with bites on his cheek and body. We wouldn't stay here again.
Location is perfect
Smell of smoke in a non smoking room!!!
Price and location
no soap in room, not enough towels. T.v had only a few channels, beds were stacked on wooden frame, and slid easily. could have been cleaner.
friendly staff, clean and comfortable, quiet
wifi slow, room took a long time to heat up
Smell, security, Insulation, Heat
Not the fanciest place by no means but definitely worth the money I paid! Staff was friendly.
