We loved everything about our stay at BranCliff. The host, location, grounds, accommodations, everything!
The house, the rooms, breakfast, the hospitality - all superb. Also not too invasively OVER-friendly. I have already recommended it to friends.
Friendly staff, good service. Comfortable accommodation. Breakfast is always something to look forward to and Brancliff is quiet and very clean. Would stay there again. It is close to good restaurants, wine tours and shops.
Can't say there was anything we didn't like really other than wishing we could have stayed longer/ .
Great place to stay
Breakfast was very tasty. Lots of varieties and choices of foods. The innkeepers (Debbie)was most attentive.
Because of the rainy weather we were not able to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor setting.
The building & location Debbie's wonderful customer service Fantastic breakfast
Excellent food. Good service.Good location and staff very accommodating.
Excellent breakfast. Spacious suite & very attractive grounds. Excellent soundproofing in a quiet neighborhood. Very well maintained.
Beware of stairs if you have difficulty climbing! (*First floor suites are available.)
Comfortable and luxurious; excellent breakfast; accommodating owners.
We picked the BranCliff on the basis of the reviews online, as the base for an extended stay in NOTL from the UK (9 days) I must admit that we couldn't believe just how positive the reviews were - until we got there. We had one of the "corner suites" (unsurprisingly there are four of these) which comprises a beautiful bathroom, a really comfortable sitting room, with the bed set on a mezzanine level above. The high quality and attention to detail set the suite way above many really good hotels. And then the breakfasts... Lots of comments already about these; lots of choice, freshly cooked and prepared and suitable for any appetite - needless to say we ate really well! Debbie (our host) was incredibly helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble; on several occasions going a step further than we could reasonably expect, making the stay so much more special. Would we recommend the BranCliff to anyone else - you bet, there was nothing to fault.
Our host was very helpful with recommending and making reservations for dinners. She was very friendly, and accommodated my dietary needs. It was a beautiful room, and in an excellent location, walking distance to everything, wineries just a short drive away.
Everything was good.
The location, the food, the atmosphere, and the facilities were exceptionally good.
The location was perfect for walking Queen Street. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was a treat with wonderful daily choices.
Breakfast was great. Styling of inn was charming
Linens not changed. WiFi not strong enough throughout inn.
Brancliff B&B is wonderful! Great location, very clean, fantastic breakfast, and beautiful building! We spent two nights in this quiet location with a comfortable bed. The owner is very nice, and even got up early so we could have a quick breakfast before the normal time because we had to leave so early. I highly recommend Brancliff.
Nothing we did not like
An old school transformed into a B&B : so charming ! ; big bedroom ; awesome breakfast ; just an hour away from Niagara Falls
You've got to pay the price ; nothing much to do around
The renovated building, the setting, the beautiful tasteful interior and superbly appointed rooms, a fantastic breakfast served by the lovely host all set in Niagara on the lake. What more can you want.
There was nothing not to like
close to downtown and major events
parking can be tricky when lot is full
Fabulous host Lovely property Attention the the guests' needs Personable feeling to the experience
Location, large and confortable Room, and a wonderful breakfast
Beautiful large rooms with sitting areas for visiting. Gazebo in garden very inviting.
Wonderful King suite, great location and fabulous breakfast. It could not have been better!! Thanks so much, Debbie
Nothing to dislike here!!
Really liked the grounds, rooms, and host. Location to the 'main strip' can't be beat! Overall excellent service and rooms. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Niagara by the Lake.
Surprisingly, we were not crazy about the breakfast. In fairness, both of us have a fair amount of experience with B&B's and have realtively high expectations. Didn't find the food to be great (pancakes tasted like they were from a pre-packaged mix, and the quiche tasted like it was also pre-packaged). If you're not a foodie, this won't bother you. If you are a foodie, keep your expectations reasonable and you will not be dissapointed.
Location, settings, the room is perfect, the breakfast well done, the owner was very friendly. We will go back again!
