Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Balcony. Atmosphere. Pictures and history of the Brewster family.
MOUNTIANS AND THE CLEAN MOUNTIAN AIR.
Room was affordable, clean, and private.
It was a little confusing at first to find the breakfast room, jacuzzi, and stairs.
Close to the action
Parking. Have to pay for it.
location, beddings, room/washroom size
Wi-fi is a bit of pain
The location and room once we were placed in the room we booked.
Staff initially told me that a king bed with double Jacuzzi room did not exist even though that is what I booked. I would not have received the room without my copy of booking and such a room was possible and available.
Most staff were excellent, one young lady not so good!
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was quiet and overlooked a courtyard, away from the noisy front street. The beds were comfortable.
The breakfast choices weren't the greatest. And getting to the eating area was strange.
Helpfulness of staff
Central downtown location. A 10 minute stroll and you could reach all shops, museums, restaurants, etc. Underground parking was also great.
Both of us had terrible sleeps. Very noisy pipes in the walls all night; the beds were atrocious. We are in our early 30's and can both usually sleep like rocks when we spend a night away from our children but we were both up multiple times and stiff/sore the next day. For the price this hotel charges they can afford to upgrade their beds.
We stayed in the King Loft Suite for a night because we had a reunion in town. The staff at the front desk were knowledgeable, curteous, and very helpful. We were provided with a playpen for our daughter to sleep in at no extra cost, and there were a lot of options at breakfast. The room itself was very quiet, as was the whole hotel, which was surprising as it is surrounded by bars! This was our 2nd time staying here, our 1st time with our child, and it won't be the last.
Had issues connecting to the wifi.
no meat for breakfast
Staff was very helpful, accommodating. Very proud and happy to do their job !
We have always stayed at brewsters when we go to banff approx 3 to 5 times a year. This stay I was very disappointed with the comfort of the beds. I actually didn't sleep both nights. Additionally the elevator broke down and we had our infant with all infant travel items. I think tgat brewsters needs a good reno...it looks like it has been forgotten. Sadly I will think twice about staying here in future.
Bad breakfast, no refrigerator, too soft bed. It's pricy.
loved the hotel itself and the free breakfast. Decor was very nice and staff friendly. Great location for site seeing and walking the downtown area.
The location of our room was a nightmare. Didn't get any sleep as there was a big party happening outside our window which the police cleared about 3am then the clean up crew were ridiculously noisey and then at 6:30 am all the garbage dumpsters were repaced by a large beeping truck. We had a long drive ahead of us that day on no sleep.
So dangerous when decorated the arrow in the bedroom, look not safety for kids when play around the room and not make safety feeling when sleeping too!
Large room Additional washbasin outside the bathroom
Breakfast was basic, and the room was very crowded and noisy Parking was not free The room was not easy to find like in a "labyrinth" The view from the room was on the internal hotel courtyard
Right off the main drag so parking was never an issue, great central courtyard for smokers & a great morning view.
No fridge in the rooms, wifi was limited, a good atmosphere otherwise.
Breakfast room very impersonal
Parking & breakfast & staff were great! View was great off the balcony. Great location. Room was very quiet. Enjoyed the history lesson with photos & write ups.
King bed mattress was saggy, needs to be replaced. When you can see the sags, then its time to replace it. No cots available or pull out sofa bed in room. Bathroom was awkward with toilet behind door. Tight squeeze for anyone. Perhaps a sliding pocket door would be better? Jacuzzi was out dated.
Perfect location for activities in town. Close enough to surrounding attractions that we were able to stay in one place for the whole time we were in the area, not wasting time changing lodgings. Secure parking facilities very reassuring.
Continental breakfast is exactly that, carb heavy. Only sources of morning protei are peanut butter and yogurt. Could at least have hard boiled eggs available for breakfast. Never did find the stairs.
The room along the alley was noisy when all of the businesses closed at night but we had to leave the window open due to the heat and lack of air-conditioning. Roll away beds were not available for my child so we made a make-shift bed on the floor with additional bedding but the establishment did not provide extra towels etc for my child. Breakfast was minimal, you could not bring a mug of tea back to your room because the dishes had to stay in the breakfast room. We went elsewhere for breakfast, no value there...
This hotel is a few doors away from Banff Avenue, the heart of Banff.
There was no air conditioning and the breakfast included was continental I thought it was a full breakfast as it seemed to be on the booking screen.
room was hot. people skateboarding outside in alley until 3am. couldnt leave window open because of noise.
the staff was great, and location was right downtown banff
the rooms had no air conditioning
