Good location, helpful and informative staff gave lots of suggestions for dining, walking tours, ferry routes. The garden was pretty and there was a nice sitting area outdoors. The window beside the bed where people walk by made me uncomfortable. The coffee served for breakfast was not good, There was shampoo but no conditioner - I do not travel with these items.

The hotel is located just 3 blocks from the center of Charlottetown. Pluses are its location and convenient free parking together with a clean modern room and ample breakfast. We were placed in the hotel's convention center, a building across the street from the original hotel/motel, office and restaurant. An underground tunnel connects the two.

Location of the hotel was quite convenient. We were a litle disapointed with the hotel, a bit dated, needs reno! There was a problem with the air/heating system on our last night there, it was rattling (mechanical) and really had a bad nights sleep! We did report it to the front desk and maintenance man the next morning. It was obvious that nothing could be done at bedtime!

I liked the location, free parking and continental breakfast. However, the staff in the breakfast room could be friendlier. One of the reasons is that there were alot of late comers around 1100 including our part and we managed to slip in when other guests were leaving. A more notable sign outside the breakfast room stating breakfast hours maybe would help. Most people assumed breakfast was from 7-11.

The room overlooked the pool which closed at 10pm and opened at 7am with the result that the noise was overwhelming. When we complained we were told we could move to another room but this would have been really inconvenient at that late hour.

great staff. felt like the room was not deluxe at all... had a great time but was thinking deluxe meant more then a basement room with a bed and 3 chair along with a tv and bathroom. i was also in a another room with a kitchen much more "deluxe".

Centrally located and good facilities, reasonable cost, helpful staff and clean hotel. Breakfast was good enough without being brilliant. We were not there for a brilliant breakfast.

Our room was clean and well kept. There was a nice breakfast included. The best part though was being right in the downtown where we could walk to restaurants, theatres, shopping, historical sites and parks.

Free parking. Free internet at a computer terminal - I didn't bring a laptop, otherwise there was free wi-fi as well. Breakfast was plentiful and substantial, if a little carb-heavy. Cleanliness. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Confederation Centre. Distribution of space in the room - bathroom was small and strange. Not connected directly to the sink area, which could be great for families sharing space, but awkward for one person. Price! The tax really impacted the cost and as a result I was disappointed with what I paid for this hotel. Windows expose you to the hallway, so getting direct light can only happen when fully dressed. Some noise from the fans and other rooms could be heard.

location was good and staff at front desk were very good even when my on line reservation with confirmation did not reach their location they were still able to accomodate us. I did feel the rate was rather high for the room as it was clean and comfortable but I would not classify it as executive or luxury. The breakfast was nice but more care to cleaning of the room by attending staff would have been appreciated.

We love the location...walk to town, supper and shows. The staff is excellent and the "free" breakfast convenient and just enough! Don't like staying in the main building section, its got an older look. We weren't allowed to use our Aeroplan miles towards booking a room. Not sure if its a seasonal thing or if it was because of the prince and princess visit previous to that time and they figured there'd be a bigger influx of people in the aftermath and chance for money this season. Its frustrating to accumulate miles and not be able to use them when that's what you're used to doing especially where Best Western Charlottetown is a yearly visit.

Ease of access to various vacation spots we visited; liked that location was in older section of Charlottetown; personnel was very friendly and accommodating. Our room did not have a refrigerator, which, for what we paid, felt should have been included. Apparently, it was a hit or miss, where some rooms had refrigerators and others did not.
