In the Business District, only moments from the Bell Centre event venue, this hotel in downtown Montreal offers comfortable guest rooms and convenient amenities.
Score from 1286 reviews Good
Next to McGill University and in the center of the city, this hotel features a seasonal rooftop pool with partial views of Montreal and the St-Lawrence River.
Score from 1044 reviews Very good
An indoor pool, a gym and a sundeck are located on the roof at this Montréal, Québec hotel. Modern suites provide full kitchen facilities and Mcgill University is 950 meters away.
Score from 768 reviews Wonderful

Score from 857 reviews Excellent
Location was prime for all needs, even close to a Metro stop.
I would like to have been able to control the temperature in the room.
Would stay there anytime
Thre was no problems
Perfect location right next to McGill University, the night life of Rue St. Catherine and Rue Crescent, shopping, Park du-Mont Royal is close by, great view from our room, really comfortable beds and pillows, quiet, friendly and helpful staff, great bakery/cafe downstairs, good value for the money. We had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel.
There was nothing I did not like about this hotel. We had a marvelous stay! Thank you so much.
The location was great.
The room was small but acceptable for a solo traveler. The staff did not pay attention to the privacy card I did put at the door and entered my room for cleaning. Totally unacceptable!
Great location and value for the price. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
We stayed in November and found the room too warm, even with the air conditioner on and the thermastat turned down.
The staff never mentioned to bring a credit card even though I made a payment through my visa debit.
I booked with a booking agency (Booking.com)and even though I requested a window of cancellation of one week prior to the reservation, I was not given it and my credit card was charged immediately...not pleased.
spacious room with two beds, little street noise on 7th floor, computer room with printer, immediate response when toilet malfunctioned, proximity to restaurants, quick valet service.
amateurish renovation job in bathroom, noisy guests next door: recommend asking for last room at end of hall way.
Excellent location near McGill. Cheapest prices around and very friendly staff(everyone in Montreal was very friendly!)
Coffee maker in room did not work
Friendly, accommodating staff. Great location.
Can't say I didn't like the premises - elegant and classy - but I think it needs to be spruced up to bring out its beauty.
Location was good, close to everything
I found the parking quite expensive
Great location, hotel comfortable and clean. Pleasant bar & restaurant. Most of the staff were very helpful - changed our room when we had a problem with the ac unit, provided maps and information, helped with bags etc
One very rude member of staff. Went to make an inquiry at the desk, midway through the conversation she suddenly answered the ringing telephone and just left us standing there. She proceeded to deal with not only that phone inquiry, but another another after that before returning to us!! The breakfast in the cafe was awful!! Very unorganised and when we finally got our food & coffee it was inedible - it was luke warm, overcooked potatoes (some were black), bacon was dried out and hard, scrambled eggs were cold and tasted awful. Had to (try) and it eat it with flimsy plastic cutlery. The only edible bit was the toast, and it took us ages to get any butter for that. For a couple if dollars more you can get an absolutely delicious breakfast just around the corner, which is bigger and great table service.
Good standard hotel all aspects One fault the Restaurant (separate ) poor standard Libyian?.
Walls are not soundproof, sound of water "showers, pipes" from other apartment can be heard loudly and it's very noise.
Close to city and Mont Royal and city shopping.. Room was large. Staff were very helpful.
Had to move rooms as original room had a high pitched noise. Called front desk who sent up an engineer. Engineer said it was caused by the water pipes and all rooms in that corner of the building had the problem. The front desk moved us to another room on the other side of the building which was quiet. The bathroom had an opaque glass paneled door which was not ideal.
All was good
Ice machine on 5th floor never worked.
Location was excellent, many shops, cafes and Mount Royal near by.
I was in a room near elevator, I am a light sleeper so that wasnt good. There was a room deodorant smell in the room that was very strong - I had to open the window to air the room out.
Breakfast and wi-fi and not much else.
Check in procedure. Attitude of staff is poor and unhelpful.
Location is wonderful
Cleaning staff walk in after room is clean. More than once and leave when they saw us. What were they doing in the room after it was cleaned?
- Location is mainly why we picked this hotel - I was expecting a bigger room. I guess I've put too much hope on the "deluxe" part of the room description - Parking valet was really quick - Overall quiet except for some door slamming (see cons)
- Room was humide - Air smelled a bit foul when we entered - Door slamming. We are in 2014 and I can't believe that this hotel was not equipped with anti-slamming doors devices.
Position Nice hotel with all comfort. Effective fitness centre
No room available upon my arrival. Had to wait a couple of hours, but personnel was kind.
Staff were particularly friendly & helpful. My sister was visiting from South Africa & loved everything. Lots of happiness around the hotel.
Great location near all major Metro Stations, St Catherine St, and the bus to the airport. Hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful.
Bed was a little small for us; we are both tall and a larger bed would have been a better fit however the bed we had was comfortable and didn't detract from our stay.
The room was large and extremely clean. The staff friendly and willing to help with a smile. The owner (I believe) was on site to inquire about the comfort of guests.
A bit dark. A more attractive restaurant. Possibly would consider staying in Old Montreal in order to walk to restaurants and other destinations. Cabs are expensive.
Superb location, reasonably priced. Got a room at the back. Quiet!
