We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful (even if they didn't know about the eventbus #403 that goes to scotiabank place). The room was clean and had a balcony with a nice view over the byward area. The breakfast was diverse and good. Complimentary afternoon coffee/tea by the artificial fireplace was just a great bonus. The bed was a bit noisy and in need of a change. The walls were pretty thin and you could hear people having conversations and watching TV in other rooms. |

I found it to be clean and comfortable, within walking distance of all the major attractions. I did not like that they charged my mastercard the day before I arrived as I had not intended to use it to pay for my accomodation. |

Excellent location in the middle of downtown, quiet room, very friendly and helpful staff. Tipp: Don't go for the public parking with your car, it can cost quite a lot (the posted 8 CAD are for parking between 6am-6pm) |

Location was excellent. The inn was in the residential section of the street. I arrived after 8 pm and left by 8.30 am and was able to park for free on the street. Lots of interesting looking eating places on the street within walking distance. Very functional and clean. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Idea to let guests boil their own eggs was great but the water was not hot enough when I was there. The door does not lock automatically. I almost left my room unlocked. Staff should inform guests. The WiFi was not working in my room - signal was too weak. The furniture looked good but was uncomfortable. Metal chairs in bedrooms do not go. Atmosphere was almost institutional although an attempt was made to make it more cosy. |

Almost everything. The people, the location, free tea time, the very large breakfast, the warm and comfortable bed, the space of the room and equipment provided in the room... It was great! |

The beds are quite comfortable. The breakfast is good. It's a little basic. With a little work and an upgrade on furnishings, etc. this could be an extraordinary hotel. I would pay a little more to stay there. |

At $125 per night this hotel is not particularly cheap although anything cheaper in Ottawa seems quite poor in quality. The hotel was clean, the room spacious, with facilities all of which worked OK. To get an idea of the level at which this hotel is pitching itself, the room had a presentable TV, Tea and coffee making stuff, . The limitations show with the range of shampoo etc in the bathroom, the number of packets of coffee available (maybe they get lifted? ) true, more were probably available on request. Only bottled water was from a machine in the underground garage. Breakfast was OK but limited selection especially towards the end of the session. Position was good, very near Byward Market.Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. No safe box in the room: Sheets on the bed seemed clean but were not ironed. Important? well I don't iron mine at home but in a hotel un-ironed sheets could have other implications. Only shower soaps were a shower gel and a body lotion. Maybe a proper shampoo would have been preferable to the body lotion, but then, I am male. |

The location can't be beat and the relaxed attitude of the staff we appreciated. Love the balcony. Somehow I just can't enjoy that type of flooring!! I hate the sound it makes when you walk on it, reminds me of nails on a blackboard. Feels so artificial. The blind in my room were broken, |

the location, the parking, afternoon tea, breakfast, the lobby washroom, wonderful, and of course the friendly staff not dislike, but a suggestion that the re decorations be accomplished and that more soap and towels would be nice. and the big one, more handicapped features,ie grab bars in the washroom, anti skid surfaces in the bathtub, glaring examples |

The greeting on entry was extremely pleasant and staff helpful. The room was nicely appointed and great for stays of a few days. The location is ideal for working in or exploring Ottgawa. The breakfast was a bit spartan but nice offer. I will return. Some confusion over what breakfast included as the items were in different locations. No-one was really watching to make sure all was in order. However the food was more than adequate. |

The closeness of the hall for what we came for,the rooms were pretty clean, and most of the employees were very helpful and friendly, all the different restaurants, and the different shops are great. The hotel had enough rooms for the 2 other couples we were with. The receptionist had a poor attitude, I called the hotel twice and I was never told or reminded of the parking charge, and having to pay $12:00 dollars a day for parking was very unreasonable. Your guest should be allowed a discount rate if anything. How do you expect your customers to relax and enjoy what your city offers when they have to worry about putting money in to a parking meter? If they do not pay the charge for parking, Down the street from you is a parking garage that cost $8:00 a day, and it was big lot, we left our cars in the garage because it is so small and one of our cars was an suv, it was a tight fit. It is really bad taste to charge your customers for parking. And after driving 11 hours, it was unreasonable. |

Spacious room. Balcony with table and view of parliament buildings. Comfortable bed. Clean. Kitchenette with dishes, microwave and fridge is handy. Excellent location for tourist sights and restaurants/bars. Breakfast was only okay, with poor cereal and fruit selection. |
