Proximity: right downtown in market, close to everything. Weak breakfast. |

The hotel was clean, the room was spacious with tea/coffee/microwave facilities. Very well located in one of the main streets with restaurants and bars yet away from noise. Walking distance from main tourist attractions. Staff were very helpful and tried their best to get things right. The room lacked some basic requirements for 2 people (it was a 2 double-bed room). Upon our requests the staff acted expediently. Breakfast could do with some cereals and yogurt was only available on 1 morning of our 4 days stay. |

The desk staff was very informative about the city and had suggestions on what we should see in our short time there. A very nice man. rooms were very plain, little color. |

a few steps away from the heart of Ottawa, our room had a nice balcony with a nice view no free parking (only till 8am in the street) otherwise you'll have to pay 15CAD a day to park your car in the small but closed garage of the hotel |

Front desk staff was friendly upon check-in but it ended there. After that whenever we were passing through the lobby none of the front desk staff were the least bit friendly. Also, not happy there was no kleenex in the room. |

The location is in an interesting area of ByWard Market and I (a woman) felt safe arriving on foot at night. The welcome inside was warm and helpful. The room was comfy and very clean. I felt at home in this room more than I ever do in my usual hotel accomodations. All halls quiet during the night. Complimentary breakfast was very adequate and substantial. Other guests all very friendly. No shower cap! Absolutely minor point! |

My room, with it's private balcony, offered a great view of downtown Ottawa and the Byward Market. My room had a small fridge and microwave, and was equipped with cutlery, cups, and even wine glasses! The bed was extremely comfortable. There was not much noise. My only complaint was that the lighting in the bathroom was not as good as it could have been. |

Ideal location for Ottawa city tour, right in the Byward Market district and in walking distance from the Parliament Hill and the National Gallery. Clean and inexpensive. Breakfast was rather poor (but it was free!). |

It was in a great location for staying downtown in the city. The decor was a bit boring - obviously not a big issue and not at all a negative about the stay. |

Hotel is ok for the price. No services are available but if you are not looking for them the visit most probably meets your expectations. Breakfast could be better. |

I liked the location, close to the market. I liked the balcony. I liked the simple kitchen equipment that included a kettle and fridge. The staff were friendly and helpful. I slipped getting into the bathtub for a shower. I found the plastic mat for the inside of the tub afterwards, under the sink. |
