We chose Carlingview because we arrived in Toronto too late at night to make a connecting flight to Vancouver. It is close to Pearson Airport and has a 24 hour shuttle service, which made it perfect for us.

The staff were very friendly, organized and efficient. The rooms were basic as can be, but very immaculate, no complaints there. I found the bed slightly hard and the pillows slightly soft, but that was okay. The towels were flimsy there was only one large one in the room so we had to order more as well as soap, only one bar.The only real negative though, was the pitiful policing of a group of rowdy teens, who from 4-6am, were yelling up and down the halls, banging on doors and generally being rowdy. The should have been shut up even if it meant calling in the police. Security was very ineffective and clearly this was detrimental to the rest of we customers trying to sleep! But having said that, I would go back on an a normal weekend night or a typical non-holiday day! Lack of security and/or experience with inactivity.

The room was fine and the staff courteous. The parking situation is dreadful....i was flying out of toronto for 4 nights and they charged me $50. extra plus the parking lot was away from the hotel in a field in the middle of no-where - no lights and very scary....so I will never use this hotel again for that reason.

Rooms where good to excellent, staff were good and helpful and the price was good Only complaint I was the $5 charge for parking per day added on check out , so the last contact before leaving is bad. Add on only annoy people just have it in your price.

It was close to the airport and they had a free shuttle, which was very handy. The room was very large. Our non smoking room smelt like it used to be a smoking room.

I first liked the closeness to the airport. Then when my friends could meet with me and were graciously accomodated, that was the highlight. We enjoyed a great visit, food, and relaxed visit. Thank you

The bright woman at the front desk on June 9 asked me when I was leaving the next morning. She assigns rooms based on departure time to minimize noise and disruption for those staying later. Brilliant! Thank you!! She deserves a raise - plus she loves her job and is excellent at the front desk.

1- no snow plowing done in parking are, very slippery 2- no signage at road had a hard time finding it 3- room were excessively noisy 4- continental over at 7 A.M. leisure stayers sleep in 5- asked for smoking room, got a non smoking room 6- and when we checked our credit card statement there was a bill on there for $3.14, so we phoned and they said it was for the bottle of water that was left in room. Never have I heard of such a thing. We thought it was complimentary. We will never stay at this hotel again!!!
