Location is good, nice backyard with access to water.
Literally 2 shower stalls for the entire hostel (2 dorms and additional private rooms). Only 4 bathrooms. Not enough pots, pans, dishes or silverwear for the guests. Linens, furniture, kitchenware is old and needs replacing. Bathrooms are unpleasant. Common area is outside the private rooms and isn't available in evenings so kitchen becomes the place for people to be.
Good ambiance, convenient check in hours, great spot with view of the wilderness, tons of free food options;) Loved it.
great staff, location with a great view, secluded and quiet, good facilities
The two guys running the place were nice. Large, well equipped kitchen, comfortable sofas, nice atmosphere
A nice place to stay
Mattresses are too soft Wifi is poor even for email, Skype and browsing are hardly possible
The location was nice.
The bed sheets didn't seem to be clean, I am not sure if the beds are cleaned. The toilets were leaking, one was not usable.
A quiet, restful place. Safe and secure. Clean. Right in nature. I saw a deer right at the back door my last day. Fun trail leading to the water, but a little soggy. Friendly people. Car-friendly. Not as busy and hectic as Tofino. More laid-back. Not a party place, but a good place to recharge and get back out to the beaches/hiking trails. Only 3 showers, but the other guests really slept in late, so it worked out.
Wi-fi slowed down as more people got on it. The bathroom walls were a little thin - maybe could use a fan to drown out the noises. Could do with a place to change in the bathrooms, rather than the stalls. Office hours could have been longer - open more in the morning. The 2 fridges were jam-packed with food. The atmosphere was friendly, but people kept a lot to themselves and their devices.
Nice location and great backyard including hammock, BBQ and swing!
Cleanliness was poor sometimes, Showers are on a different floor than dorms, Staff was moody
Nice and clean hostel.Location is very good.Friendly.
Location is great, surrounded by nature (it's good to have a car though). Hostel is well maintained, and the manager Andy keeps it very clean. If you need information on what to do he can help you out. Hostel has a homely feeling. Great place to stay, would definitely come back.
