The hotel makes fair use of a grand old house. It was well situated for a single night's stay to attend a family funeral run out of a perlour down the street. The room was clean. The bed comfortable (with four good pillows). Bathroom and towels white and clean. Staff on the whole curteous. Breakfast not bad. |

Friendly staff, roomcleaning was well done. The location is nice, a subway on less than 50 meters. Free use of (wireless) internet. I've booked a room with two beds but they gave me a room with just one, seemed there was no dubble-bed room availible, strange... However, they gave a bigger room. The breakfast is poor but okay. The environment doesn't like this breakfast, paper plates, paper coffee cup, plastic knife and fork, all in one waste bag. |

walking distance to the services I required. priced reasonably. nutricious and free breakfast. close to downtown. Reasonably clean. Parking space available until 6pm day of departure mould on the shower curtains. construction nearby. could hear lots of noise from hallway and neighbouring rooms. would recommend only for specific purposes. would not be considered for a romantic getaway |

I wish rooms had a proper A/C and not just a noisy ventilator. |

The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, near to metro, had laundry facility which was cheap and quick. I really didn't like the breakfast, a lot of it tasted stale, and I didn't return to eat after the first day. |

It was close to Yorkville and we enjoyed being able to walk to the film festival in Toronto. No fridge in one of our rooms. |

confortable bed, clean room. very disappointing breakfast (not enough choice, the same every day, with plastic and paper dishes!!!). The lift was also too small and absolutly not easy to use when you have big bagagges. |

The room was clean and the staff were helpful. Also, the hotel itself had character and history, which made it that much more interesting to stay in. |

the hotel was clean and friendly close to the subway and buses. Everything required was in the room and there was a fully equipped laundry room to refresh the laundry. The breakfast was not very good, the croissants were very stale every day. We only ate breakfast twice then the following days we went out for breakfast. |

its close to the subway and downtown area and its location is quite safe at nights whilst walking back to the hotel all the rooms have window units (aircondition) that trips off at night and the room gets hot and when it trips back, it disturbs you at night - guests can pick up a newspaper in the lobby, if you are early in the morning, but if you are late, there are none, suggest papers are delivered to your room. |

Free wireless internet in the room. However, there were some minor problems with the passwords, but the personnel was very cooperative on fixing the issues. It's located really close to the subway. The first room we got had a window facing a wall so there was actually nothing to see there. We were basically not even able to see whether it's a day or night. However, after we made a complaint they moved us to a better room. The whole hotel has some kind of smell after "old" or something like that. Furthermore, there is an elevator, but it's extremely clumsy and it might even be too small for large baggage. Tableware was made of paper and plastic. |

Construction of a building has just started beside the hotel. It may become noisy. You won't be able to enjoy the views to the south. |

The hotel is near the Sherbourne subway station, you have as well 2 supermarkets quite close, the breakfast is good, the staff helpful, good services (as the washing machines, the free wifi, the printer at the reception) No possibility to open the windows, we have to activate the air conditionning to refresh the room |
