Breakfast on plastic plates etc.bedroom so dark could not see without lights on and curtains would not open because the view was a wall. We booked hotel well in advance and we are members of choice hotels of which you are a part of we felt let down we are staying in a quality suite in Quebec which far outshines your accommodation and is a lot more reasonably priced and far more friendly. You did not make us feel welcome in what is our first and maybe our last visit to Canada.please take on board what we have said and smile at all your visitors when they approach the front desk it makes sense. Thank you.

We loved the size of the rooms at having a relaxing lounge of our own. Have never experienced that in a hotel before. Great to have a laundry facility and loved the old style building. Please don't pull it down. Great breakfast and certainly plenty to eat and options good too we thought Just a small thing. The drier in the laundry was making a terrible noise and perhaps needs servicing, however it did dry the clothes and was working other than the noise.

Let's start with the fact that it doesn't look anything like the photos on their website. The rooms have old beat-up furniture and the breakfast was terrible. The neighborhood is awful. It felt like a haunted mansion.

The room was lovely and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. My favourite was the shower...felt amazing. Really had to drag myself out of it. I loved the decorating too...the wallpaper was gorgeous...where can I get it?? I have no complaints at all. The overall old world feel was perfect...even though the room itself was quite modern. The parking wasn't the greatest to access..a little awkward having to drive over a curb to park but there was a parking lot accross the street (as long as you don't mind moving your car by 7am!)

Clarion Hotel is in a great location and you can get to any place you want to go from here easily. The price was more than fair for its location and the staff were very helpful. The continental breakfast was fantastic and great options for things to eat. Not just a plain Jane cereal-and-toast type of deal. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Toronto. No complaints whatsoever and I really enjoyed my time. My only issue was that the wesbite I booked my room through said it wouldn't charge my credit card until the day I had my room reserved for. It charged my credit card as soon as I booked it and I wasn't given any explanation as to why it did.

-close to Subway Station -quiet hotel -breakfast included -very clean and modern bathroom -stairs only to entrance: I use a walker and needed someone to lift it up the stairs as the hotel did not have a ramp.

Reasonable price Hotel is in need of being refurbished. Our room was up to date but someone had "fixed" the toilet paper holder by hammering a piece of wood to the all and then screwing on the holder (really??). Everying was a little odd and I wouldn't rebook this hotel.

Great quiet 427 corner room. Zen atmosphere with design and decor. Mansion elements with elevator grill door and stained glass in main stair case The lack of a separate heater in the bathroom is the only thing which I mention

I liked the location Here is my complain: The receptionist was quite stressed that day, unfriendly and suspicious (prejudices?). He said that I had to pay 50 Canadian dollar deposit on top of the room price (that has been refunded at my check-out) because he said it was the policy of Booking.com. I told him that in the past I have done some reservations with Booking.com and no deposit has ever been requested before.Besides I had initially booked a room with 2 twin beds. We were given a room in the basement that was dark and cold. When I came back to complain the finally gave us a king size bedroom on the 4th floor. The breakfast was average/good. I will not go back to that hotel.

We weren't quite sure what to expect as we had booked online, but when we saw our room we were delighted. It was clean and newly decorated, not to large but perfect for our needs. We loved the elevator with the grill! The staff was friendly and helpful and the subway was right across the street.

cool old building, very unique and different with modern touches inside. good breakfast, great staff, they were friendly and wanted to help. bad area.! but you cant do much about that. what you could do is pickup the facility to make up for it. it looks like it started off as a great place and has degraded a bit, keep up on the maintenance.!!! ice machine was broken, water leaks from shower onto carpet outside door, etc. bathroom needs a bench or chair in it, again, you could overcome the bad area with just a little attention to the details inside and get 4 of 5 stars for sure. place has great potential, just keep up on it.! good luck.
