Cambridge Suites Hotel Halifax    

The location- right across the street from Halifax Citadel. The breakfast was excellent with chocies of fruits, breads,juices and good coffee. Room very clean and with a nice city view.

Very little shampoo, no new bottle was replaced when the room was cleaned. Locked doors after 11PM

Location I attended the bluenose Marathon

Easy access and close to everything. Within walking distance of shops and restaurant.

The one thing I would recommend is for the breakfast to end a little later on weekends. When you say it ends at 10, at 10 it did. Everything was cleared from the tables. When you just want to take your time in the morning, on vacation, we often prefer a laid back breakfast.

We paid for a 'suite' accomadation - ie a bedroom and a pull out in our living space. The bedroom consisted of a small 'area' in the room partitioned off by 4 small folding doors - no privacy to the living area at all; no noise barrier/ Very disappointing. Staff , when we asked to be moved to a real studio suite, were most un co-operative.

The Cambridge was close to the downtown the room was very nice, had everything you needed In the room

The bathroom could of been cleaner we found hair in the bath tub. Also I think the cost of parking was a little high $16.00.

Friendly and really helpful staff! They were just Excellent! Beautiful decor needs to be mentioned and our suite was really spacious. We enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were roomy and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accomadating.Central location and late check out time.

Parking was expensive, in the room, breakfast was advertised as ending at 1030 am yet when we went to get refills at 1015 everything was being put away except for tea and coffee.My friend had to complain about noise after 10 pm closer to 11pm as she couldn't get to sleep with party goers next door.She was awoken during the night upon their return as well.Price of the room was high .

The location was amazing, central for everything and the Hotel Staff were particularly friendly and helpful. I had a major problem which was not good on my own and they went out of their way to help me.

It was a great pity that there were no resturant facilities and I also found that whilst waiting for a night flight after vacating my room at 1500, there was nowhere apart from a very public lobby to sit and relax.

Clean room with good quality soaps. Shampoo etc. friendly Staff. Pretty good complimentary continental breakfast.

Given a poor location in the hotel. Restaurant was closed due to reno's could only get room service. This was not reflected in the price.

The location was wonderful and staff very friendly.

The whole experience was pleasant and the location perfect.

The garage entrance sign was too low and our surfboards would hit it if we didn,t raise it every time we came in.The garage doors to the elevator are heavy and awkward when passing thru with luggage and as a main entrance not user friendly.

This location was excellent. Our room had a view of the harbour that only the view from the rooftop patio could beat. Shopping, restaurants, bars are all within walking distance. Help was always at the front desk with no waiting. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Robes in the room would be a nice touch to wear to the hot tub and sauna.

Great central location within walking distance of all of the sites in Halifax. Many restaurants close by. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We would highly recommend if you were staying for several nights. Good breakfast with plenty of healthy selections. Hotel staff were all friendly and enthusiastically responded to whatever the request. The hot tub and roof top patio were a bonus. BBQ and picnic tables available too! Hotel does not have a pool however we were able to use the pool at the sister hotel just a block down the street.
