Location Price Breakfast Comfortable clean room
The great ambiance in the city . It was a pleasure to walk through and see different restaurant . Good choice of great cuisine and nice ambiance in the restaurant . I went to the Oldies and I was very well served and the staff were great to explain their menu and suggest good wine .
Bathroom and Shower should be renovated and up grate , Doesn't fit with the rest of the room style . Using new toilet appliances and shower with glass door .
The location, the suite and especially the staff were wonderful. They went above and beyond to make our 45th anniversary holiday very memorable.
Great Views of the Harbour from our 6th floor room. It was nice to have a suite so that we could put kids to bed and still watch tv. Also very nice to have a little kitchen with full sized fridge, microwave and stove top. Breakfast was good but basic but included so that was a bonus.Easy walk to harbour or Citadel from hotel.Staff were very helpful.
Mouse in room, however staff were very good, offered us a new room which we declined as liked the view from where we were. Maintanence and housekeeping worked quickly to resolve the problem investigating & putting sticky traps under the oven where we think it ran to. Didn't see it again.
Breakfast and friendly staff
Location and room amenities like a fridge and the continental breakfast were great.
That you had to pay extra to park in the garage.
All requests I made were delivered to our room quickly.
Finding a paid parking spot on the premises was an issue at times.
room design location, proximity to activities view of citadel friendly, helpful staff
We had an easy, completely comfortable stay in your hotel. Great location.
Lobby gathering for cocktails was a nice addition Accommodations were very nice Breakfast was also great
No vending or ice machines on each floor A bit of an inconvenience
I liked the cleanliness of the room, the friendliness of staff, breakfast available in the hotel, and the location of the hotel near the citadel and quite near the waterfront in Halifax.
I got almost no sleep one night of the four I stayed there. The other three nights were good. I discovered the next day that there had been two bachelor parties taking place near my room the previous night. I did not call the front desk to complain because I didn't know if it would make a difference and the staff were prepared to do something about it.I would prefer that the hotel staff warn partiers that the staff will be monitoring the halls around room parties closely and then ask them to be much more considerate if there are problems. Staff know these parties are taking place so they should try to prevent the noise rather than expect guests either to endure it or complain.
Staff was very helpful. Hotel is in a good location!
The breakfast didn't have much options.
Rooms are spacious and good quality breakfast is included. Location is perfect and parking right in front of hotel.
The room was very large and lovely
paying for parking
Loved the rooftop patio! Loved the hot tub! Loved the breakfast buffet!
The price was way out of my price line so probably won't happen again for me. Pillows way too big for us. Lack of concern when I was ill/didn't want to call an ambulance. Never checked after to see if we were okay....very disappointing!
Location, close enough to the waterfront but also close to the downtown section.
Room was fairly noisy both from the hallway and the outside/road.
The hotel is located besides Citadel, close to different parks and few blocks away from Halifax downtown. I and my family arrived in the hotel at 11 PM after a day long trip and the staff was very helpful in getting the rooms ready.
In spite of renovated rooms with new decor, the hotel is getting old. My other experience in Halifax was with Best Western Chocolate Lake, and I recommend it because is newer, looks cleaner and has a great view.
Everthing was great, breakfast was very good, rooms very comfortable, I would rec'mnd to all.
Very nice suite. On site restaurant was important for me. Enjoyed the meal I had there.
Very helpful desk staff. I asked for a restaurant for a late meal and advice given was spot on. Room immaculate and great size. Comfy beds. Situation was ideal the Citadel a short walk away and also public gardens a short walk away. An easy walk to the boardwalk.
Park and walk to Public Gardens or the the great Farmers Market on the waterfront. Great convenient location.
Location is very good. Hotel has a big underground parking at a reasonable cost. Rooms are large and clean. Staff is very friendly and polite.
We loved this hotel. When we arrived, the manager waived the parking and cot fees. Throughout the week, staff were excellent. Our one bedroom suite had plenty of room to make our family of five comfortable. The continental breakfast had plenty of real, fresh fruit. We wish we had had more time to take advantage of the rooftop terrace and fitness center.
It was difficult to do laundry because there were only two washers and one dryer working. The breakfast could have been improved to include a few hot items, even bagels or waffles, You had to order off a menu to get something hot and entrees were very expensive.
Well located near the Citadel with great facilities. We enjoyed the breakfast
Location is hard to beat- close to the waterfront and downtown shopping- not to mention historical sites such as the Citadel.
Parking was poor, definitely not enough spots for the need. We had a fridge that was very loud & woke me up. The kitchenette is minimal, really just a fridge & microwave.
