Great Location Value for money Spacious comfortable suite with separate living area and large dressing and storage area Had a great stay at this hotel and would highly recommend for anyone staying in the city for more than one night
Too many words to describe my daug hters and my stay! Staff - front, back, service and restaurant exceptional. Looking forward to going back!
Location was excellent. We could go anywhere in the downtown easily.
Free Wi-Fi was accessible, but internet connection was interrupted frequently.
Room layout, our suite had a separate living room, bedroom, then a large 'dressing room' which had the wash hand basin and long vanity counter, with the wc and bath / shower separate
Wifi could be slow at times
very old not good furniture poor internet
Wifi wasn't always available I wish there was a minibar on rooftop
We really liked the set up of the room. Very spacious living room area with a nice kitchen set up. Also the separate bathroom sink / dressing area was great. The shower was okay. No water pressure. Also, the Cable service in the bedroom TV was not working and the WiFi was nearly non existent.
The location was handy especially to access CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium...we parked the car at a nearby lot and either walked or used the TTC to travel. The room was clean and comfortable, especially for the money. This is a very busy hotel right in the Entertainment district of downtown.
The kitchenette area really isn't a kitchenette. There's a microwave but NOTHING to support a family's stay. We had to spend $30. to buy plastic cutlery, paper plates and cups so that we could have a bowl of cereal in the morning. The mini fridge was almost filled to capacity with ridiculously priced pop, water, beer and assorted mini shots so that we had to literally wedge in milk and juice for the am. Forget trying to self-cater... even snacks and breakfast.
Nothing. This hotel has gone downhill very fast. The only thing that keeps it going is the their long time staff. Even the new hires are useless.
Everything. This is supposed to be a business traveller hotel, it was nothing but kids running around everywhere. Elevators didn't work, one elevator for entire hotel. Immense construction in the area, so much that you can't take a nap or get a cab outside the hotel. The amenities are all shot and old, the rooms and quality is sub par. From a value of money perspective, I feel tremendously ripped off. I've been coming to this hotel for 7 years now and lately it's just not as good and they haven't kept up. Very negative experience mixed with poor sleep due to noise and construction and then the 20 year old shower heads spraying water everywhere but on my head was the last straw. For he same price, I could have stayed at Trump Hotel. And next time, I probably will.
Large comfortable suite, location was excellent, fairly quiet, and modern TV system.
The furniture and fixtures are showing age.
I liked the room size
I did not like the location. Right off yonge few blocks from dundus sqare. Too hectic. The hotel is ok, the suit was big but the bathroom looked like it needs a renovation.
The location - close to eaton centre and subways, able to hail cabs, the room service was good and the maids were good too.
Staff - the check in lady was very snooty and when asked if there were any more adults, I said no, she said the doors close at 11 pm and that unauthorized guests would not be able to enter. May have been because of my appearance and because of my age. But usually when someone says "no" they mean "no" as in there wouldn't be any unauthorized guests. That really upset me.
door that separates room from common area
front desk service false advertising on booking.com lack of willingness for manager to work with customer to make accommodations...I will not be staying here again and will not recommend it to others. Atrocious customer service
Location can't be beat! Clean, basic accomodations. Very good beds.
Excelent location. The bedroom is very big and has a kitnet.
The only problem I found was having to arrange the sofa bed by myself.
Staff was excellent! Very helpful....
They were way overpriced for the rooms. No pool
The position of the hotel is excellent. There was no crockery or cutlery in our suite but staff delivered some when we asked.
The street noise during the night. We were on the 7th floor and the noise woke us up.
Excellent location in downtown. Very near to Eaton Shopping centre and Dundas square. Hudsons Bay department store almost on the doorstep!! CN tower within walking distance. Staff very helpful. Room comfortable. Would stay there again when in Toronto.
Only minor things: The safe was too high for us to reach easily. General area outside the room and lifts could be better cleaned.
Everything .. Location .. Comfort .. Staff ... Spacious rooms... Clean ...
It's not that they were bad or something... But maybe to remodel the interior of the rooms.
Having a separate living room/sofa bed for the kids to sleep on was very convenient.
The room could use a facelift/reno.
Nothing, good hotel to stay at.
The staff was amazing super friendly and helpful! And the room was great had no complaints at all!
The breakfast didn't have the greatest selection and for what we paid to eat, it wasn't worth it!
the front desk staff at night were seriously lacking people skills. won't be returning because of them.
complimentary breakfast a bonus
