Bed was very comfortable, room clean and quiet. Bathroom was large and exceptionally laid out. Pleasant and helpful check-in.

Hot Breakfast was served too late in the morning for business traveler. Shared bathroom with another room (although never an issue).

Had to ask how to work the shower head. The cooked breakfast was average.

We stayed 4 nights. The Hot Breakfast offered was always eggs, no other options. Self serve toast, cereal & yogurt were always available.

This is a very nice b&b in a very quiet, very pleasant part of Vancouver. Access to and from the city by bus, and to and from the airport by train/bus, is very simple and convenient. Kitsilano Beach is within walking distance and the local streets are enjoyable to stroll around. The place is also just a busride away from Pacific Spirit Park, ubc, and the brilliant Museum of Anthropology. West Broadway is also walking distance and has shopping, and restaurants if you want to eat locally. The accommodation is exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts are repetitive but very hearty and well prepared with a decent mix of hot stuff, cereals, and fresh fruit. Hot breakfast starts at 9 and runs till 10.30 - very civilised! There is free unlimited internet and a spare computer if you didn't bring your own. There was plenty of space in my room and the bathroom, and plenty of hot water for showers. The TV is large and connected to cable. (The downside is you have to watch Canadian TV. The upside is it makes you turn off the TV and do other stuff.) Julia and Ray are delightful hosts and always ready to help. You should get a quiet, pleasant, relaxing stay here and get to mix with a wide range of travellers over breakfast.

A few minor things: The rooms are probably a little overpriced but overall they still represent good value for money when everything else is taken into consideration. My room on the entry floor had a private bathroom which had a locked door right next to a generally unused corridor - still the partitioning is 'thin' and the obvious transfer of noise a little disconcerting - a heavier door or blocking in the door would be helpful. You also get the occassional toilet flush from elsewhere in the house. I was also next to the front door and near the breakfast area but I will emphasise that this place doesn't attract a noisy clientele and breakfast is held late enough.

Breakfast is too late and last forever until it's ready. Better 10$ discount and no meals.

Camilla House is one of the few places to stay in the western part of Vancouver, so it was perfect for us. We were attending events at UBC and visiting friends. We stayed four nights and would definitely return. The room was comfortable, the breakfast good, and Ray and Julia worked very hard to be sure we enjoyed our stay. I certainly recommend this B&B. We have previously stayed at two other B&B's in the same general area, and this was definitely the best.

Reception and staff were so friendly clean

Location suited us for it's proximity to the airport, for dropping off our hire car. Also strip of shops with cafes within walking distance for evening meal was good. Coffee & tea available at all times and water cooler, Also fridge & microwave for guest use, and comfortable lounge and internet access.

Set breakfast time of 8.30 although some continental choice available earlier than that. Upstairs room very hot. Run more like a hotel than a b&b

The staff were always anxious to help in any way, there was a constant provision of juice fruit and cold breakfast available throughout the day and hot food at usual breakfast time If coming to Vancouver again I would rebook without hesitation and recommend the accommodation to friends.

Nothing, our impressions were all positive

The great bed, good breakfast, the confort of a house (the enviroment, the living room, computer with internet, water, tea, hot chocolate any time we want), the hostess was so nice that made us feel at home. The location is also good, since is very close to downtown. And if you walk 5 minutes you are at Broadway Road, where you can find anything you need.

Lovely house and neighborhood. The room and bed were very comfortable. There was a large, private well-stocked bathroom and plenty of storage space. Location is very convenient to down town and tourist attractions, such as Stanley Park, Granville Island, TELUS Science Museum, etc. Good shopping area within walking distance. Our hosts were very friendly and gracious. Julia cooked a great breakfast each day. She also let us check in early. Coffee and tea were always available, as was a house phone, computer with internet, and brochures about Vancouver's places of interest.
