The floors were extremely nasty. It was obvious that the dirt was coming from the grout in the kitchen and bathroom tiles. The floors stayed nasty even after my attempts to clean them. It would be helpful to steam-clean your floors.
Centrally located in the hart of the city. Has a nice pool and Jacuzzi. Wonderful views of the city. All public transportation services close by. We really enjoyed our stay.
My only negative comment would be about the condo management. The carpet on our level was filthy dirty. Makes a bad first impression
very nice suite in very nice condo great furniture (kitchen etc) very good location
no free parking 5 persons are too many only one bedroom and 2 small sofabed
Good location and a large and well equipped room.
Late check-in services could have been better
Location, Services, close to easy to use transport
Noise, and lack of basic items in the kitchen. IE salt and pepper and cooking utensils
Good location in the downtown of Toronto. Many facilities nearby. The house offers everything you need and the bed is breat. Silent. Good kitchen. The staff is good and nice.
The sofa in the living room is not confortable, hardly suitable for sleeping. We found some hair in the bathroom (which is a bit outdated) and the floor was also not clean in the appartement.
Canada Suites is not a hotel. They have appartments at various floor in old condominium and have no control over its maintenance. AC were under repair during our one week of stay in summer. It caused lot of discomfort. When we arrived, the security of building called one staff of canada suites who came and gave us keys, provided fans, and gave us hope that AC will be working in a day or two.
Location, amenities, facilities.
The pull out couch was a little uncomfortable but was ok for kids.
Location. Friendly helpful staff. Clean
QualiTy of sofa bed was poor. Air conditioning not working
We loved the location as we were close to most things and a C$12 taxi ride from the Convention Centre where the Lions International Convention was taking place. We were also able to do some site seeing when the Convention ended which was great. The staff, especially Mark Lefor were so helpful and kind. They could not do enough for us.
We would have liked the suite to be cleaned and the sheets changed at least once during our 9 day stay. Most Suites I have stayed in have had maid service included in the price charged.
Enjoyed going on the balcony. Beeing able to do your own laundry. I like the way the kitchen was set up,like pasing the food through the window where the sink is.
the noise the noise the noise. Somebody was using a drill next door while I tried to get some sleep. Not having air conditionimg for a few days etc.
The suites are so nice and comfortable. Even if it's a one bedroom there are enough sofa beds for 2 more people. It was clean and the staff was nice.
That they were booked out. :( sad
The apartment provided exactly what we wanted in Toronto, and was properly reflected on the website beforehand.
Central location, good size apartment and near to college metro
AC was a bit temperamental for second bedroom / living area. Be aware of the 11am checkout if you are flying home from Toronto. This issue of luggage storage was solved but it cost us a few more dollars extra
1.The property is in a good location. 2. The security is adequate.
1. There is no video player and could not watch our films. 2. No respect for privacy of the guest as there was heavy noise from next door due to complete renovation without courtesy to the occupant. 3. The guest is left to clean the room by themselves throughout their stay. This is not nice. 4. I was promised of a good view location but the promise was never fulfilled. 5. No short term parking for guest visitors
The VIEW, the pool, the gym, the closeness to a grocery store and Starbucks, the cleanliness...I could go on and on. We could walk to almost everything.
The description said the 1-bedroom suite would sleep 5 people which is the size of our family. Luckily, we were upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite which was perfect! A 1-bedroom would have been too small.
Location great. All facilities required were there. Worked well as a holiday base where you could eat in if you liked or easily stroll out. Even a car rental round the corner, not that a car was needed much - public transport in Toronto is excellent and easy.
Perhaps a hair dryer would be useful...no other downsides.
Great location, close to everything. Very good building security.
Old building with bad taste decoration. The beds and sleeper sofas were old, noisy and very uncomfortable, not even my kids were able to sleep there. More expensive than two rooms in a decent hotel. Parking not included. Housekeeping not included.
Everything about the Suites was first class and they were in an ideal part of Downtown Toronto with access to shops, restaurants etc.
The fact that I added 2 nights on to my original 7 night booking and was charged more per night.
Overall the suites are well kept and comfortable. We had no issues with the place when we first moved in. That was the only night we weren't inconvenienced. Things wen't all down hill from there.
The suite we stayed in suffered from flooding from some issue in the bathroom. We informed the building security of the situation who then forwarded the matter to the building's superintendent. After a quick inspection he contacted the building's plumber on duty. We were also in touch with customer representative at the suite - in doing so we were faced with two reactions. One from Mark who was very helpful and wanting to resolve the matter for us. The other was from Alex, who's reactions were rather extraordinary (and not in a good way!) for someone in the hospitality industry. On the day of the flooding we were made to wait for 4 hours in the lobby without direction as to what could be/ would be done. My daughter, who we were visiting for graduation, inquired about what was being done to help her parents, her 80 year old grandmother and autistic sister to continue staying at the suites. Alex rudely responded that it was OUR FAULT that the apartment had flooded and that they should TECHNICALLY be charging us $1000-2000 for damages. She simply replied to him that she would not discuss this until she had seen the unit for herself. Upon further push to see what could be done for our living situation, we were told that CANADA SUITES did not have any accommodations for us at the time and that the earliest that they would be able to accommodate us would be on the 4th. They further offered us a one bedroom apartment to stay in (it would not have adequately fit my family of four) so we declined this option. While my daughter urged us to vacate, we had spent a lot of money for the suites and my gut instinct told me that I would not be able to get my money back for the accommodation or find adequate accommodation in the downtown area for a family of 4 in a similar 2 bedroom suite. We vacated the premises for one night however, and stayed 45 mins away in the suburbs with some family.
Location is great, right in the city center. Well furnished.
Need to sign a lease, which says tenants are responsible for doing cleaning, and furthermore, tenants are encouraged to hire professional cleaning company to do the job. Otherwise, there could be penalties. This made us very nervous. Before checking out, we spent a significant amount of time to clean the apartment, which was stressful to us. Basically, it is managed exactly as a condo apartment. Not really a hotel.
Great central location. Apartment was well equipped.
Would have liked a left luggage facility for checkout day. There was a problem with the air con but this got sorted within a day or so.
#Thoughtfully equipped, met all basic needs of comfortable living, made us feel completely at home, away from home. #Very prompt, fully professional with a personal touch responses of Mark, truly ...nothing off Mark.
#Interiors of one elevator out of the four was rather shabby and doesn't match the over all look and feel. #Cable box under the study table is a big jumble, could be better organised.
Location was excellent. Walking distance to good restaurants. Even to CN Tower. Apartment was very clean. Staff also very friendly. Always a Good Morning from security. Would stay here again.
Disappointed jacuzzi was out of order and not repaired during my stay. Something I would have looked forward to using after a day of sightseeing.
Furnishings were modern and of a high quality
There was a fire alert on the first night and it was bay handled with no communication even though there was an intercom system. Frightening experience!
