This place is just good for couple nights and is not a proper place for families and children
I liked the location. It was close to all the places I needed and wanted to go.
I was only in my room a few short hours and then had to check out due to an emergency with my child back home and was never given a break on the amount.
Staff was very accommodating
Parking was a bit cramped due to some large trucks
staff were accommodating when asked for a coffee pot and coffee. close to hospital price
had to go outside to get to continental breakfast
Closer to downtown
Lounge where can we met
Location is great, close to the trans-canada hwy/16th ave. Professional staff was easy to deal with and gave me no hassle. Close by fast-food places (Denny's, McD's) makes for a quick way to grab a bite. Clean rooms are always appreciated as well.
Breakfast area is too small - it shouldn't have been half of the 'office' that they have. I would've appreciated an actual common area/dining room type setup but I took my breakfast back to my room anyways. Walls are paper thin - I can constantly hear noises outside and above me (I was in a ground floor room). Bed/pillows weren't the most comfortable but again it's a motel, so it's not that surprising.
Everything was ok. Nice bed. Breakfast good for typical Europeans - sweets, cookies, fruits, coffee.. Several restaurants around. 5 min walk to CTrain.
There were no close cupboards - but plenty coat hangers. Internet connection sometimes stopped for several minutes but soon recovered
Comfortable Good Wi-Fi Next to restaurants for a quick stop for food (Boston Pizza, McDonalds) Air conditioner
Small bathroom (not a big issue) Limited selection for the continental breakfast
There was a small problem with our booking but they handled it very smootly and we got a free upgrade. (Instead of a room with two double beds for four persons we got two double room.) The city center can be reached fast either by car or by tram.
Was clean, and comfy bed
Old tub, chipped sink, therefore the feeling of what might be wrong elsewhere.
Location, pleasant staff, proximity to malls and restaurants
Lack of activities for children.
helpful staff,good location. good breakfast
Good beds. Close to CTrain
Noisy. Very outdated.
Good value, clean and warm (heat turned on) room, comfortable bed, 24-hour front desk/lobby, free Wi-Fi, convenient location - on 16th Avenue NW (we were heading to Banff National Park). Restaurants next door: Boston Pizza, McDonald's and Phil's.
Thin walls. Can hear outside noise and sounds from the room/floor above. Dead-end parking lot, U-turn could be difficult because it was angle parking.
Promonently displayed Name visible from across the highway !
Exit from Parking lot to the highway a bitvawkward.
Very friendly staff - couldn't do enough to help. Comfortable bed. Handy position for C-train. Coffee machine available on request.
Badly needs updating, especially the bathroom. Air conditioning very noisy and didn't seem to cool room. Only room for approx 13 people at breakfast which was in reception. Bring earplugs - walls are thin and we were frequently woken by guests in the ajoining rooms.
the location was great very handy for our follow on journey through the Rockies. Comfortable bed. a nice bit of breakfast to give us a start.
Good value - clean, comfortable Easy access location, close to C-Train rapid access to downtown
TV too small Pool "closed for season" in early October
clean room, free parking, breakfast included, close to public transport
comfy bed, mini fridge
toilet would not shut off
Staff was very friendly and professional. Room was absolutely spotless. Good variety in the continental breakfast. The motel is only one car length off Hwy 1. Super convenient and super clean! Great value for the money, especially for two penny-pinching seniors.
The breakfast area, which was in the front office, was too crowded to accommodate the guests even though they came in at various times. So the guests who were not able to find a seat had to take their breakfast back to their room.
Service was good, very helpful guy at front desk. Close to transport links. Laundry service was cheap. Pool looked clean. Sewing kit in room was just a night stop over but was ideal for that
We only stayed in this hotel for about 9 hours but it is the worst one that we used in our recent trip. After spending a whole day on the road, I'd like to get a cup of coffee when I checked in but was surprised to find that there was no coffee, coffee maker or coffee cups in the room. For a room of $110+ a night, one would expect such basic services. This is the only hotel of the several in my recent trip that does not have coffee. The furniture is so old that the drawers drop off to the floor as soon as you pull at them. This is the only hotel of the several in my recent trip that has such shabby furniture. They still use the bulky CRT TV set. This is the only hotel of the several in my recent trip that still has this kind of TV . There's only a small window/opening in the office through which you talk to the staff, which makes you wonder if this is a safe area. The receptionist is normally not visible from the opening and there's no bell to ring. I ended up asking a cleaning lady to find the receptionist for me. The room is filthy.
