Great for pet at back of building
told them light over sink did not work no one came to look at it.
It's old and smelly :(
Alot of cleanliness issues. One lady running the hotel. no parking lights a back- drug deals going on in the middle of the night. No front office between 11-8. I would never come back
Staff great,no complaints.
Gas station is next door, almost close to every shopping needs.
For cad 140 a night, they didn't have a iron/press/hair drier. May be thats pretty standard at Kelowna. The rooms were non- smoking but at every entry to the hotel we could smell smoke, not sure why, probably someone smoking in the corridor or something. On the check out date, they didnt even bother to replenish the coffee. Tv was pretty old, crt style, won't even sale for 10 dollar. They had basic shaw cables. No gym, no swimming pools or hot tub. Its pretty much a like a street side motel with very basic stuff. Forget about walking to the Okanagan lake, you can probably cycle if really like cycling.
The initial price.
I didn't like the fact that I originally booked a room with two beds and somehoe between making the reservation through booking.com and the hotel it turned it into a queen room at a higher price. When discovering that the room wad not a double I chatged even more to change it. My original booking was for less than $100 / night and in the end I was billed $138/ night .For that I could have stayed a much nicer hotel closer go where I needed to be. The experience left me feeling fooled. So you got me this time but never again.
The location was good.
It was dirty. We had to request extra bedding even though I originally booked for two adults and two children. There was a double bed and a pull out futon. It wasn't very clean, even the phone was sticky :( I wouldn't stay there again.
Price. Upstairs windows too small and high. It was fine
The facility was old, needed repair, the room we stayd in was not very clean and, most importantly in Kelowna in August, the air conditioner did not work that well, was extremely noisy and leaked all over the carpet. We expected much more for the $135.00 we paid per night.
Can hardly connect to the internet
The air con was noisy, needs a make over, and a good clean. TV had only one channel, to far away from centre, over priced.
Proper overhead bath-shower Easy to locate Best value in summer for sure but don't expect 5-stars cause it is'nt
The suited my exact needs for the two days - No complaints
Location was close to stores and entertainment, affordable nightly rate, friendly staff.
Strong ammonia smell throughout entire hotel, but strongest in our room. Very old and creaky hallways, unfriendly and sketchy people around the property. The door leading upstairs was supposed to lock at 11 PM but it was open when we came through and I could not get it to lock behind me because the door and lock were bent/broken. Didn't feel secure while staying. Room was tiny but manageable.
Friendly staff. Backyard full of plum trees..
Could upgrade their fridge and furnishing
We were travelling with our dog and the Inn had a few pet friendly rooms. The lady at the reception desk was very friendly, efficient, welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, the dog previously in our room had urinated on the carpet and there wasn't time in between customers to have it professionally cleaned. However, the staff had shampooed the carpet twice to try to remove smell and were very apologetic. The room was good value for money and the air conditioning cooled the room adequately.
The room smelled of urine for a couple of nights and wet carpet for our stay. On the other hand the smell was tolerable and urine smell disappeared after two nights. The toilet in the bathroom ran a couple of times and had to be manually stopped in reservoir. The bathroom sink "regurgitated" a large number of black particles a number of times and this needs to be fixed. The wall air conditioning unit is very noisy and made a sequence of odd sounds.
Not bad place for this price.
Need drive by car to nearest cafe or restaurant no way do it by foot (((
Location on hwy! But was still pretty quiet
Only good thing is the lady that checked us in to the rooms was extremely nice and helpful. Could tell she really cared about the customers at the hotel.
Had a problem with the cleanliness of our beds and the manager who we unfortunately had to deal with was extremely rude when handling the problem and did not apologize once, just continued to be disrespectful and did not care too much about our concerns. Also the pictures of the hotel and room are very misleading. Wouldn't stay here again.
It was really easy to find off the main drag and was a lot cheaper than many other hotels in the area.
Hairs in the tub, dirty footprints on the wall, weird peeling windows with no screen, and a bad smell throughout the place. Preauthorized my card for the full amount a week in advance, and had me pay in full on the first day. Cheapest place available during a busy weekend in Kelowna, but still overpriced for what you get.
You get what you pay for here. Front desk was great. Location is about $25.00 cab ride from downtown. Building, is getting a bit old. I'm of the opinion as long its clean and safe I'm comfortable. So I would stay again.
This a fairly old hotel and in desperate need of an upgrade.
Was only fair value..., needs some updates for sure.
Air conditioning, matress was ok, tv worked
Ground floor windows didn't lock, sheets had stains, counters were old and stained, shower was dirty with someone else's hair and sand. Clerk was late coming to the counter, then took a phone call before acknowledging me.
